The best restaurants serving American food in Dumfries & Galloway Lowlands

It's was easily the best burger I have ever eaten! The stuff are very friendly and alot of the food is homemade and tastes fantastic! I highly recommend this place! ☆☆☆☆☆

Food is great as always but the chicken Balti is the best curry I've had thanks to Jessie the chef..

Not what you expect from the outside, as like someone’s front room. Pleasantly surprised, on entering, and the menu being offered. All reasonably priced, well presented, and value for money. Pancakes a must. Great little antique shop too

Had evening meal here last night after being told ,it's the best food in Gretna . Utterly disappointed at what was presented. Perhaps the owners need to see whats on offer literally on the doorstep ! We ate in a wonderful place in Annan the week before and yes theyre the same price point but a whole different leage on the food ,service and surroundings.

Stumbled upon this little gem when staying nearby for the Easter weekend, and glad we did. Visited twice over the weekend and the standard was equally as high on the second visit. Steaks cooked to perfection and the burger we had was amazing, not your normal processed patties either. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Right at the side of the A75 with plenty of parking. Can’t recommend this place enough, will definitely be back.

We Thought we would give the place a try, as its been open a few years and had mixed review. We had aKorma with Rice. The Rice was not cooked with a lot of grainy bits. and the corma was look warm and i put it in a pan and heated it up. We also had a Pizza that was not all that good considering the price. We will not use this place again as better food in Longtown even with the 12 mile trip.

Price for kids meals £6 includes no sides or drinks. 2kids meals and 1pizza was over £20 so we left. No customer interaction it’s a digital order board.

After a day shopping and sightseeing we came for food here. Didn't realise it was a chain store, it had a American diner feel to it . Set out well with tables and comfy chairs. There are no menus as everything is set out on a large backboard. We ordered a wrap, panini and a side order of fries and shakes for drinks. Im not sure why as we paid for the fries but one sandwich came without the standard side salad and slaw. The chicken was dry and the ends of the bread tough like it had been warmed to much in a microwave.. the fries were cubes with very little cheese. Shakes were very nice

The KFC was excellent but pricey at £10 for a burger meal. Visit spoilt by inconsiderate HGV drivers who thought it was ok to park on the small caravan car park even blocking the through lane

Very poor food, had to take order back at least 5 times for them to get it right Wanted medium coke and they gave me a small and said they didn't have any cups other than small Didn't get my money back for it either

What a difference in a place, went in today for lunch, food was good and nice to see that they now have staff who actually care, lady with grey hair tied in a knot was very pleasant, well mannered and was very thorough when cleaning the shop......well done Mrs. We will be back.

Food was absolutely diabolical when i went there. Ordered a breakfast stick which i thought would be pretty simple but the meat was cold, roll was stale and staff barely said a word to me apart from snatching the money out my hand. Rubbish food, rubbish service and 1 unhappy customer!

Cornish Bakery coffee was shocking. Asked for two oat milk lattes and the barista lady confirmed back that it was oat milk we wanted and proceeded to make the coffee with full fat cows milk which we only realised upon tasting the drink. We have both been seriously ill since having the milk from a grieving mother cow whose baby has been taken away and killed so that humans can consume what is not theirs to consume. The barista that served us didn’t seem to be with it to process a simple order and I hope she pays attention in her future service so other people don’t get poorly. It’s a responsibility that should be taken seriously and when we questioned if the drink was made with oat milk she was rude in response. We won’t be coming back. This has been a really upsetting experience on so many levels.
