Cornish Bakery coffee was shocking. Asked for two oat milk lattes and the barista lady confirmed back that it was oat milk we wanted and proceeded to make the coffee with full fat cows milk which we only realised upon tasting the drink. We have both been seriously ill since having the milk from a grieving mother cow whose baby has been taken away and killed so that humans can consume what is not theirs to consume. The barista that served us didn’t seem to be with it to process a simple order and I hope she pays attention in her future service so other people don’t get poorly. It’s a responsibility that should be taken seriously and when we questioned if the drink was made with oat milk she was rude in response. We won’t be coming back. This has been a really upsetting experience on so many levels.

I never expected to be writing a review of a roadside pit stop! I don’t often leave online reviews at all but here I am! During a tiring journey of the last part of moving home, I dropped a pouch of little treasures of no real value to anyone else, doubting being reunited I emailed Stephen the manager who was kind enough to forward on to his colleagues Nicola and Valerie whilst on holiday. I mostly interacted with Valarie via email and phone, who was so lovely to talk to and let me know my pouch had been found and happily posted to me with no hesitation! I would like to thank all three team members for pulling together to make it happen and being so very kind and helpful when I expect they are very busy people too!
