Another fast food place . Go to far end of carpark and there's a good place to walk the dogs

Very busy for the time of day and took ages to get food. Toilers syaml and no loo roll most

Used the nice man on the till. Don't like the machines. Lots of people waiting but was served quite quickly.

Motorway services. Says it all. 1st stop from Glasgow.

Annandale Water is our service station of choice when heading north. We have used macdonalds a few times. On this visit it was busy. When we received our order the chips were bearly warm and not particularly salted - I'm assuming because they had been boxed up and left sitting. - Disappointed!

Wait for a double cheeseburger meal , then got handed a bag 🎒 went to the car and guess what no burger lol also they had no bigmacs

Very busy but the food is fresh, hot and good. Pleasent staff.

Slowest staff I've ever seen, wasn't busy around 10 staff and around 10 customers i had to leave half my order due to how slow the staff moved.

Ordered a Philly burger and when i got home they had given me a Fillet of Fish burger

Thursday, 01:00 am, we were returning to England after the match. I waited about 50 minutes for my order, and I didn't get any coffee

++night time review++ So about 1130pm....only 2 staff, a out 40 customers waiting. Food was awful, fries were soggy and cold. One star as they turned off the order board TV so you couldn't see the order ahead of you..... cynical If I'd known the wait of 25 mins I wouldn't have ordered. Poor (Picture on daytime including order board working, as if by magic)

literally just watched someone make my burger with their bare hands no gloves and he wiped his hands on his shirt im going to be sick got my food and immediately put it in the bin and went to the costa next to it x like he genuinely picked up a slice of cheese and just put it on the burger while touching everything when everyone else in the kitchen had gloves on

The food is great, but the seating area was dirty, the tables were full of rubbish and the bins were full.

Ordered two bacon and cheese flatbread both looked like they were stood on whoever made em up didn't care about what they were doing in fact probably blindfolded tasted good tho..😛

Basic McDonald's at a service station. Service was a bit slow and food was not fully hot when eating.

Fantastic service by a young polite worker called Robert who delivered our food to the table and even went out of his way to go back and bring extra sauces. He is a complete credit to the company. Also extremely clean. Great to see cleaners immediately jump on tables to clean away the last persons mess making it a very hygienic environment.

What a joke. No excuse. Restaurant was filthy. Tables and floor. Disgusting How Macdonalds allow this franchise to operate in such a filthy state

It's a McDonald's. At a motorway service station. Fine for protein and fast carbs, not so fine for a first date.

It’s not a fine dining restaurant 😂 it’s a mcds had a lovely greasy burger that was hot and a substandard coffee it ain’t no costas I knew what I was getting in to 😋 place was clean my boxes were ticked refuelled the body it’s a good stop off point for travelling.

Poor service. Staff with bad attitude.

Not satisfied with the service and portions. Ordered a large smoothie but only got half a cup. The burger was burnt and put sauce which was added to the order.

Still provides spaces for kids to be artistic.

Ordered via the app, quiet when we visited overnight, but was fully open. It was extremely busy when we visited through the day, but service was very quick. In the middle of the services, so plenty of seating and facilities. Outsidethe place is surrounded by a lake and grassed areas, and it was lovely to sit outside with the dog whilst having our food. Very nice place to stop.

No complaints regarding the food, typical McDonalds. I really appreciate that they haven't taken advantage of their location to increase the prices beyond the normal. Service was quick enough, the dining area was clean and it keeps the kids happy!

receiving my food from the counter, a young ignorant man with the name badge “Lee” could not be any more ignorant if he tried! Looked me up and down like I was stupid, will not be back! Felt horrible! Thanks for nothing!

Usual fare here, but it's often busy so a bit slower than I have experienced at other Mickey Dees. You may find that you can't pre-order in their app because, the McD App shows the place is closed. It was - for refurbishment, but it's open again now. If working, the App would allow you to save a little time. Staff have reported this to HQ but, HQ staff are a hive of inactivity.

Beautiful sunny day, grass was green sky was blue, perfect day expecting a perfect meal. Perfect meal was almost achieved, but dessert was ruined. Non-existent, to be specific!!! As I was indulging in my meaty burger and greasy fries, at the corner of my eye I noticed a lucky draw on my fries carton. Out of curiosity I peeled off the sticker, and there it was, a Free Sugar Donut!!! However, when I went forth to retrieve my free sweet treat, to my utmost demise, the counter did not deliver my promised sweet treat. I was horrified, disgusted and gut-wrenched. “How could a multi-billion dollar company not carry a sweet treat which it promised its customers?” All five stages of grief engulfed me at that instant. I would like to kindly request for a month-long supply of free McDonalds to compensate for that horrifying, disgusting and disappointing experience.

This Team is Great 👍 The crowd was huge... Yet the team did not panic. They continued to work as hard to make sure their customers get their orders. Looking at the crowd, we were prepared to wait 1 hr at least. But the food were ready in 15 minutes. Simply amazing. Good Job guys...

2nd time using them first time the burgers where burnt This time huge wait left to find items missing but worse of all the hot chocolate was like piss water

They kept me waiting 30 minutes for takeaway. Everyone was complaining. The staff ignored me when I asked what problem was. Food was cold when it came as they said they were waiting for something. I threw it away asked for refund but did not get it

This McDonald's is a regular stop for myself and my family as we drive between Aberdeen and London. The service is always friendly, the food is always good and everything feels clean. It can get busy during the holiday season, but service is still fast and friendly. If you like a McDonald's then I recommend it.

Worse mcdonald’s i’ve been to, everytime i come here you can guarantee my food will always be cold, especially big macs, costumer service is slow when there’s loads of workers on, all seem like they cba doing their job n just suit themselves!!!

It’s the slowest service I have ever seen! If you are not in a hurry it’s okay. I waited over 45 minutes just to get a coffee and a box of chicken nuggets. Never again!

I've never had worse fries at Mcdonalds than here at Annandale. They were undercooked and limp, and severely under seasoned. Not to mention, they were covered in little black dots and really greasy. Tells me the oil hasn't been changed for a while. This is my usual stop on the way to and from England. Won't be using the Mcdonalds here again.

One of the best locations for a Mac D. So glad you brought back the breakfast wrap. Superb service from the yeam with Phyllis being the gem.

Only leaving a review cos young server asked me to when I asked for sauce. My honest review is I have the worst luck at this McDonald's or my picture is somewhere. Last 2 visits I've placed my order through the touch screen like everyone else and they get to about 10-12 numbers ahead of my number before I get my food eg I'm order 47 and they got to order 62 before I got my food. Nothing the servers have done just bad luck I guess

Only place you can get a mcflurry at 3am. Came all the way from Carlisle for this and was not disappointed.

Possibly the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Ordered online at 04.30am to be told 15 mins later there was no burgers apart from chicken or fish. Someone eventually took my order and it was another 10 mins to make. So much for fast food

Low in staff during night and you have to wait 10-15 minutes for your order

My husband and I travel twice a month to Northumberland to visit family and we usually stop for a quick eat on our way home but every time the food is cold!!! only the drink is hot but I suppose for them they don't have to care or bother they just hand out the food and people will still come because its mcdonald's no effort is needed!!! And I don't think it will change but we are not going to stop anymore.

States open 24 hours, stopped by for a burger at 03:30 Wednesday 29 November, staff says they are closed !

This has to be the slowest McDs in the world. Loads of staff but producing about 2 orders a minute. Only use if you're not on a hurry!

Fine to ask customers to leave reviews, as many companies do, but pressuring customers to leave 5 stars is completely unacceptable. Taking into consideration my own experience and the other ratings on google and other review platforms, I do not believe that this is deserved for this restaurant.

It was very quiet with only 4 people waiting for their food and the staff were not busy. When I received my bigmac the burger was cold and cut in half. The milkshake was only half full and I also ordered a child's meal with a toy but there no toy. So I asked for the toy and the lady said " I can't give you one"!! but I had paid for one. I will not returning to this McDonald's at this service station as the food is cold and the service is terrible.

The service station itself is located in a great spot. That's pretty much the end of the positives. The view is fantastic though. Fries and burgers were both cold and soggy. No napkins or straws. None of the included sauces were included. Drink 3/4 filled. Shame.

Really poor service. Many people were waiting for their food for ages and all the staff were busy out the back, no one serving any customers. I watched for a good 15-20 mins one staff making multiple cups of coffee, drinks and ice cream and leaving it on their counter but not serve it to anyone. Also saw other staff packing food and leaving it sitting on the counter at the back. The order screen showed about 10+ numbers ready for collection with many people waiting for their number to be called but none of us got served. When we finally got served, the guy pretty much tossed our drink at us and it spilled over the counter. He just put the drink upright and left. The drink was a mess, spilled over the side of the cup and over the counter as well.

Easily the worst McDonald's I've been to. Extremely slow, most of your food will be cold, including your coffee. Never have sauces stocked, and always forget to add them anyway. Also appreciated the random lettuce in the mcnuggets and forgetting my drink twice. By far the slowest and worst McDonald's experience

Hot food, know what you're getting, easy to order. Long queue..it was a busy Sunday at the the service station. Plenty of seating & a nice view out the window onto the hills.

Cold food buy the time it was brought out to me, being disabled that's why I use the drive through so if they ate slow they ask you to park, this occasions they did, so by the time they get the food to me it wS cold, the chips were soggy Drive Through 1 - Customer nil. As they didn't answer the phone when I tried to complain and bring me hot food, and the double drive-through was really busy, so it's just a hassle
