The best restaurants serving American food in England

All had the lamb roast (pre book as EVERYTHING is fresh and home cooked)!!! Quite simply the best roast dinner I’ve ever eaten out!!!!! The quality of the food and portion size was outstanding! This is a gem of a bistro. Staff fantastic, friendly and helpful. Eatery was perfect temperature, spotlessly clean, and a great family table. Just felt so comfortable in this restaurant!!! Had best birthday meal in a long time! Took a lot of lamb home in a ‘doggy bag’… curry or stew sorted 👍 Can’t thank you ALL enough for looking after us today xxxxxx

I must say it was not the most hospitable place for people with dogs. We came here on our way back from dove stones. I had heard really good reviews about the place prior. We get here, we are literally here on our own and we are not allowed in with the dogs. There is a no dog policy during the evening. This is only stipulated by a “No wet dog “ sign. My dogs ain’t wet. I question this with the assist and god bless her, she affirmed that they were no dogs allowed. My husband asked to speak to the owner when he was available. The owner came straight away, aggressively, and asked what the problem was. there was no reasoning with him and therefore no resolution, so we requested either our food ( which was a sausage for our dogs) or our money back. They gave us our money back. There was no doubt the starters were delicious, and I said this to the owner. My issue was the dog policy. As the sun was going down I was getting colder. They stated dogs we’re allowed during the day when in was classed as a “cafe” but not allowed in when it was a “smoke house” it’s the same place. I was cold, it was windy, my dogs were small and clean and we were stuck outside in uncomfortable chairs in the carpark. The place accommodates dogs during the day, accommodate them from 4pm on wards. Even though the starters we received were delicious, due to the way in which we and our dogs were treated we will not go back, nor will we recommend to our friends.

An amazing experience and one of the best meals I have ever had in England. The Chef/Owner was great and let me just say you need to go with his recommendations, he will not steer you wrong. The Clams Bulhão Pato & Prawn “Alhinho” to start were pure goodness and the Seafood Cataplana for two just blew my mind, make sure to order a side of fresh baked bread to soak up all the Cataplana goodness. The special hot peri-peri Ai Ai finish was mind blowing 🔥 . If you need to ask you aren’t ready for it! Will be returning every time I am in the area!

Amazing (huge!) chicken burger, a good selection of beers, and all-round good vibes. Great, handy place to eat in Shrewsbury by the railway station

My go to place first thing in the morning before work, I can give 115 reasons to recommend but cannot list them all! Overall excellent service from start to finish and love supporting a local business too! Keep it up Dan!

Absolutely great place, food was amazing and plentiful.

First visit here to order our takeaway , after being recommended to try the Burgers. Pleased to report the burgers were superb will return again or next time will ask for a delivery.. Friendly staff..

Came all the way from peterlee for this street food, By far the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Worth the drive and most definitely be back. Staff are excellent and very helpful Definitely recommend !

Ordered at 8:30pm, by 9 o’clock they gave us a delivery time of 9:50pm, the food turned up at 11:15 stone cold and half the order was missing! And because they had shut before our food arrived we couldn’t even call to complain

Great place to eat ,meet and laughs with the owner and his lovely staff.

Went tonight for my partners birthday. We have never tried a seafood boil before and after hearing amazing things from here we wanted to try it for ourselves. We had a medium seafood boil, the soft-shell crab and the seasoned fries. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, the fish was fresh and you could definitely tell with how light it was. It was all packed with flavour and so all so moist. The way the lobster soaked up all the juices from the sauce was amazing. We would definitely recommend and will be returning. We didn't wait very long once arriving to receive our food by a very polite and welcoming chef. Thank you

Best Cheeseburger (cheezus) in a while

Fantastic staff and service, a real hidden gem, with great priced food and drinks, dropped one star as the ran out of Pizzas, but the burgers were lovely, maybe a smaller bun with the beef burger, as it looked a little lost in the large brioche bun, other than that, fantastic, went for a second visit for a Pizza, a real let down, just tasted no better than a supermarket bought pizza, such a shame.

Ordered takeout.. was awesome! I wish I would have found this place earlier!
