Escandalosamente buena comida. Fui allí con mi esposa y hermana - suegra - ley, y todos estábamos impresionados por la calidad de la comida. Si mi estómago pudiera expandirse infinitamente, habría ordenado casi todos los elementos del menú, porque todo sonaba delicioso. Vieiras, gambas, filete - una receta para una comida de celebración perfecta. La carne está seca - envejecida allí mismo - en el sitio, y es fascinante escuchar al personal hablar de ello. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial, así! ¡La música es rock clásico de los 90, que también crea un ambiente hermoso! Me encantaría volver allí de nuevo algún día.

Tarde de primera clase. La comida era increíble. Teníamos uno de cada uno de los cortes de carne de res envejecida para compartir - todo perfectamente servido! La col no debe faltar y las patatas fritas no podrían haber sido mejores. 100 rones para elegir, cóctel encantador! El servicio por el propietario era consumadamente profesional pero tan amable. Un verdadero placer y sin duda irá de nuevo

Elegantemente informado por nuestro brillante servidor sobre todos los aspectos de cómo pedir , pesos, cantidades etc. soberbia atención al detalle y consideraciones para gustos y alergias. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente

Fuimos a Wandle piratas para una cena de cumpleaños y trataron de agregar más de £ 200 a la factura cobrando £ 198 por dos de las bebidas y agregando cargos “varios” a nuestra factura. No puedo creer que un restaurante haga algo así, evitar este lugar.

Fantástico lugar. La comida era genial y el servicio amable. Tuve el mejor carpaccio de carne que he tenido. Más bien un paraíso para los amantes de la carne, aunque también hicieron una variedad de mariscos. Lo mejor fueron los más de 100 rones que tenían en stock. Hecho para una gran noche, sin duda volvería.

Amazing meal. We love steak, have eaten at many steak restaurants locally and central and this is up there with the best. Amazing selection of quality steaks, really beautifully cooked. We have been in Colliers Wood for a number of years and can’t believe we haven’t eaten here before! We will definitely be back.

Some of the best steak we’ve had! Great service too - the people that work here are lovely and really care about you having a good time. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely 10/10. Unique and fantastic restaurant in the area of Morden/ Colliers Wood. A real area gem. The owner is a fantastic and knowledgable man with some great facts about rum and steak. Great selection of steak, tapas, beer and wine! You must go!!

Absolutely incredible! I took my brother here as we're local and had wanted to go for a while. It did not disappoint - the steak was the best I've ever had and the 'surf' tapas were delicious. Great atmosphere and lovely staff - our waiter (I think he was called Igor, sorry if that's wrong!) really took the time to explain everything to us. Highly recommend the dark and stormy cocktail too!

Cracking place to go, food is perfectly cooked and you can taste the quality of the ingredients, staff are friendly and cant do enough for you, cocktails are amazing, cigars for an afters if you're that way inclined. You really do struggle to beat this place at the price point. Very very reasonable.

What a treat. Amazing tapas to start including the prawns, scallops, steak, meatballs, and bread, then 3 of us had the steak, one had the veal and the two grandkids, aged 6 and 2 had chicken nuggets and chips, which they loved. And lastly, dessert. I didn't think we would manage the last course but everything was so delicious we couldn't resist, churros, rum baba, and ice cream. All the food was of the highest quality, beautifully cooked, and absolutely delicious. The staff were spot on and on arrival, the chap who worked there, talked us through the menu...and rum selection, a very nice touch.

Honestly!!! I have not had better steak anywhere - London, Singapore, New York, anywhere! What an amazing find on a cold and wet Saturday night as a family with two very hungry teenage boys. Service is first class and you want for nothing and wait no time at all. The selection of rum was extensive to say the least and fairly priced. There is no doubt that they truly value their customers. There is no rush to finish and leave and their consideration for you to have a great time is amplified through everything they do. We can’t wait to go back again - very soon.

Wow!!! What an amazing evening we had. The tapas and steak were just awesome!!! A huge thankyou to the owner and the staff who gave us so much of their time and made our evening. Such a quirky restaurant with fabulous food and not forgetting the Rums!!! We will 100% returning.

The best restaurant I've been to, ever! Fantastic food, relaxed atmosphere, and such friendly, helpful staff. Can't to the area as a stop over for the L2B Charity bike ride. Will come again next year.

We went there because we are locals and boy that was an amazing find. Not only the selection of rums that are insane but the food was to die for. They have by far the best steaks for the price and real fresh seafood. You can taste it no doubt. Make a reservation tho, they get very busy and I have seen they turning people away if they don't have a booking... Luckily I live around the corner;)

Just visited for the first time and blown away. Brilliant menu, food and service. Loved it and will definitely be returning, highly recommended!

Really welcoming, quirky, not pushy, can ask any questions, accommodated us without a booking on a busy Saturday evening. Not the most expansive menu but decent variety. Every tapas dish we tried, 9 or 10, was top notch and full of flavour. Cater for veggies and vegans. Unbelievable selection of rums. Next time we're in town we'll be coming on board.

I’ve been here 3 times and it really is exceptional. It’s a tiny, local, authentic place to eat excellent food. The staff really care. The chef/s really know how to cook, and if you like rum the range is exceptional. I’ve just booked again for my anniversary. So far we have tried the Lamb, Calamari and steak all of which was so tasty and perfectly cooked. Even the fries are great. Can’t wait to see what the Tomahawk is like at our next booking.

Best steak in this country hands down. This quirky place won't let you down when it comes to quality of food and service and on top of that, what is that selection of rum that they have OMG there are rums there I genuinely did not even know existed. It is so worth a try! I am gonna be a regular.

Recently whilst in London at a conference we celebrated our wedding anniversary, my husband surprised me by booking a table at Wandle Pirates. What a find! A small and cosy little restaurant tucked away. Run by Brazilian Igor with his amazing Italian wife who is the chef and two charming waitresses, it was a joy to talk with them. Surf and turf tapas - we went for the calamari and the pork scratchings, good size portions and cooked to perfection for our starters. We followed that with one of each of the two steaks so we could try them both. I like my steak blue and it’s rarely how I receive it - this was just right and melted in the mouth. Perfectly seasoned and the sides of fresh coleslaw and corn on the cob were a treat. A good bottle of red wine completed the meal, sorry we didn’t have room for dessert! We shared our experience with friends at the conference who went on to book a group for the following night. Igor went out of his way to make this happen, and the group, of whom we were included-presented with challenges, but he was so gracious and all of the staff team worked so hard to produce excellent meals. Of which for 23 people at the same time was not easy - most had given a preorder but some hadn’t and the number increased on the night. We did have a dessert that time, the rum baba - delicious! Each person of our group said the food was amazing and I hope they add their reviews. Igor, thank you for being so accommodating and let me know if you think of coming up north, we’d be your best clients!

We’ve walked by the daft pirate-themed restaurant for several years and never even popped in. That was our error. We booked for a birthday and went all in with the seafood hotpot. It’s pricey and needed to be ordered a week ahead. What a great night. Fun atmosphere great staff (Argentinian I believe) reasonably priced wine and great chips! It was buzzing on a Saturday night though tucked away. We will do the tapas next time and have a good look at the cigar menu.
