Steakout in Coventry

There was an urgent need for some music or something to break the silence of the place we could hear staff complaining to each other about each other which was extremely unprofessional. The service was slow and staff seemed unsure on what to do. Food was okay some of it was slightly cold we could see it had been sat on the side for some time before being bought to the table. The food tasted nice however was not the standard of the price of food

Fantastic warm and friendly environment. Superb customer service and very attentive to our every needs Kelsey and Deborah. 💯 recommend steak out as a place to feel relaxed while enjoying good quality food. I will definitely return 👍🏾

He seguido el cartel manuscrito de la publicidad ganadora un premio de 45 alimentos en la calle, terminando en una zona industrial. Casi me cambió mi mente de intentar, pero me alegro de no haberlo hecho. El menú es inusual para una hamburguesa hamburguesas no sólo van - caseros y desayunos cocinados, pero también carnes, perros calientes y cerdo a la barbacoa. El bocadillo de cerdo desmenuzado fue tan sabroso como prometieron, generosamente lleno con cerdo picante y cubiertas con opcional de col, y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda merece la pena echarle un vistazo!

I had an excellent steak and cheese wrap, which the owner was more than accommodating to add/take away some items to make it "my" sandwich. I stayed and chatted to the owner for a while, who was a very pleasant and passionate man, and was surprised to hear that he makes all his own food which he serves from scratch!! They do not advertise this, but its a massive plus point for me knowing that he makes all the sauces, burgers, etc... for a burger van....unique, welcoming and most of all tasty.

A quaint and cosy restaurant, which serves the community and traveller with the best sandwiches sumptuously filled and modified to the individual palate.

Don't usually eat from burger vans but a friend told me about this one .. all food was full flavour and fresh for a good price ..will 100% revisit

It's not often you come across street food like this, I must say I like Danny's passion for his cooking the foods excellent. Anyone curious must give him a try but please be aware you'll be hooked.

The food here is really good and seems to draw a lot of people from the area in. They sell hot food including burgers, everything seems to be a league above what you'd expect from a burger van. Have recommended the day van to a number of friends.

We held an evening of food and live music and invited steak out to come to our venue to provide hot food and we weren't disappointed.. food was very high quality and homemade . The chilli was as spicy as it should be and the steak burgers were very popular ... Would highly recommend them for any function thank you Daniel ..

This is a first for me – reviewing what is really a burger van and am only doing so because it is on TA. It was lunchtime and just saw a sign saying ‘Hot Food on Homebase Carpark’ so I called in. The van is very clean and the ‘menu’ seemed reasonably interesting but I just chose a simple cheeseburger which was homemade and proved to be rather good. I can’t speak for any of the other items on the menu so perhaps judge for yourself. Should I go by again then I may well try something different and give a more expansive review. Perhaps I’m not doing it justice but it is a burger van after all.

If u need summit to eat it's a must, guy is very friendly and first class service. Food is really high quality using his own recipes for the burgers and food. Local butchers used he was telling us so all good. Go down n see for urself top nosh. Excellent n yummy

Ate here last week with my brother and mother. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. Having actually eaten one in Philadelphia this year, I couldn't believe the flavour and quality of this one. Made with the leanest rib tale, the cheesesteak was amazing. The pride the chef takes in his work is immediately evident. I can't rate this highly enough. Fantastic.

Daniel runs this burger van in Homebase car park at Canley in Coventry. Don't be put off by the fact it is a van! His menu is really fresh with a good selection of bacon rolls, pulled pork, chille dogs and even american pancakes. You get a large cup of Yorkshire tea and his prices are very good. Daniel himself is pleasant and helpful so next time we have a visit to Homebase, we will call in at Steakout.

its a burger bar with a difference, the food is really fresh and the guy is a friendly chap. i was up on business and had to visit homebase, if I am that way again and feeling hungry would definitely go back

I happened to be in Coventry at lunchtime and decided to give Steakout a try after reading good things about it on TA. It's just an unassuming caravan in Homebase's car park but the aroma hit me as soon as I got out of the car. I ordered a pulled pork bap and a cup of tea. The pork was heated on the griddle and there was plenty of it in a huge bread roll. Very tasty and spicy too.

Popped over after reading the reviews. Went for the burger. Now I'm not saying I'm fat, but, I do love a good burger. We all have off days and maybe this was one for Steakout, the owner is really nice and the food is fresh, it looks and smells great but lacked flavour. Beef needed more salt and I think it would really benefit from fresh onions rather than fried as these had lost their flavour too. Sliced burger pickles would have made this pop. Maybe I expected too much, it is a local guy at a local Homebase store but a few changes could make this epic...

Whilst passing through Coventry we'd hoped to find somewhere to stop for a snack and happened to notice Homebase. Thinking there would be a restaurant in store as we drove in we noticed Steakout. A rather non-descript looking mobile the menu looked quite enticing, offering a good selection of food, especially if you don't like it too healthy :-

I work just round the corner from this hidden gem! It's located just inside the homebase car park off the A45. The pulled pork he does it so so good and it's loaded on! No holding back on the portion size! Stop by if you can!

Beautiful, freshly prepared burger with onions :) didn't have wait long for order. Loved the homemade rub used on burgers, gave them a lovely kick.

Friendly service, great quality ingredients - proper meaty sausages and thick bacon. Excellent breakfast!

A refreshing change from the typical burger van! Little things like having different types of bread and good quality bacon. Really well run little place, 100% recommend to anyone

I had an hour to wait between meetings and to trip advisor led me here - what a find!! The proprietor is a very friendly fellow who clearly cares about his customers and is passionate about his food - the result was that I had one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time - this man deserves to succeed and replicate his success also where which I'm sure he will...

Was out and about doing a few errands and got to lunchtime and was wondering what i could get to eat. Like something sent from above, when i pulled into Homebase car park - there was this "american food" van. Decided i would give it a shot, and boy, was i glad i did?!

Really friendly guy and delicious home made food! If you in the area then pop into the HOMEBASE car park and try one of his burgers! Freshly made and tastes great!

Visited here for the first time today. Had the rump steak batch ...excellent and cooked fresh, friendly and fast service. Will definately visit again and recommend to friends.

Sat morning treat with my son proper breakfast batch.

After going into a local store we came out a bit peckish, could smell something cooking and decided to look was cooking, we had bacon baps and a cup of tea ,waited a few minutes for the bacon to be cooked but it was well worth it, such good quality from a small trailer , wee done

Well worth a visit very tasty pulled pork burgers homemade and cooked from fresh will definitely go back for more .......

I've had breakfast and lunch from this snack bar and both meals have been mega! A full English at great value and the Philly steak with special BBQ sauce are awesome!

Was just passing by until the smell got to us (me, bro, wife)so decided to try the homemade burger, soo much taste with all the fresh ingredients- more condiments than you would expect! Will definitely go again as there's so much choice too :)

Visited steakout on monday 19th october. Had a bacon and sausage bap. 4 or 5 slices of bacon and 2 sausages. bacon was how i asked it to beand the sausages were nice to, Excellent bap will be going back.without thinking twice. Shopping at Homebase and my husband decided he was hungry so we stopped at this burger bar. Decided to have breakfast to go. Sausage, bacon, eggs (2 of each) with mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and toast plus a large mug of coffee. Too much for me to eat in one sitting. Shame there are no tables and seats by the van to eat your food.

Had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Delicious sauce, well cooked meat and a very fresh breadcake. Cracking little place and friendly owner. All the best Aaron

Went to do a bit of shopping at a local DIY shop, came out hungry and saw a burger van, great (bit of sarcasm there), but it will do.

The best American food,nice service and good price for big portion. I was there for my holidays and the food was really tasty, the best was bacon with sausage.Compared to other food truck this was the best.

We visited yesterday and wanted burgers. Although none were left the guy made us two fresh there and then, chatting away with us, he's friendly and makes amazing burgers. Fantastic experience

I was out shopping in homebase, fancied a sausage batch and ended up going for his BBQ pulled pork.....LUSH! I'll be bk!!!

I heard of this place through a colleague who had been. It's quite close to where i work so I decided to go on my lunch hour. I had his homemade beef burger which was excellent, definetly won't be needing McDonald's burgers now :) I would visit again.
