Izzy was a wonderful host during my bottomless brunch always checking on the level of our drinks and asking if we’re okay , the food cooked by Dan was awesome will be coming back soon

We were the only people in the pub ordering food (three of us) and they got one of the meals wrong, the other two had finished their meals by the time my correct order arrived, and what I did get was a bit shoddy to say the least. Not much in the way of an apology either. One of the other meals - a Rainbow Road Sub - didn't come in a sub. It came in a roll. We would have understood if it was explained to us that the subs were unavailable. Shame really, because I can see that most reviews are good.

It’s my 18th birthday, i have been made to feel special, taking song requests and being so kind to me. Dan and Callum have especially made my 18th memorable by being so quick with service and being so polite to me, I really appreciate it

Every time I come here with friends I’m always so happy the bar staff are amazing I feel accepted and welcomed as a gay guy I never feel scared & that’s thanks to one member only trust me you’ll love it here this person is the best and deserves all the praise lots of thanks to Bethany G ❤️❤️❤️

My bartender Sean went out of his way and have brillaint service when we ordered drinks, all smiles and really polite, 100% would come here again

Having been to many bottomless brunches, this was one of the best I’ve been to. Constantly checking if we had a drink and topping us up, with great music and a great overall vice. Izzy was a great server.

Laura was the absolute best!!!! So attentive, kind - everything you want in a staff member! She really made our brunch experience the best and went above and beyond <3 give the girl a raise!!! Xx

The server Laura has been helpful and cheerful with a very bubbly and welcoming personality and the food is absolutely lovely. I apparently ordered something new from the menu and after the excitement about this the food that was prepared by Nathan was lovely I could another 4 of them

Absolutely the best bottomless brunch we’ve done and I’ve tried a few! Our server Izzy was amazing and the drinks were constantly flowing. Nothing was too much trouble and I stumbled out of the phoenix like… Then shaggy came on and I stumbled straight back! 😂 Our friends birthday was made brilliant by celebrating at the phoenix. Booked for a Bottomless Brunch for my cousins hen party. 22 of us. Izzy was amazing, she looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. A real credit to the business considering they didn't have many staff on for a large booking. We had a great time. Thank you

This venue needs to familiarise themselves with the Equality act 2010 which protects individuals from discrimination, which includes medical cannabis patients. You wouldn't refuse entry to someone with an inhaler or insulin, so why is medical cannabis any different?

Disgraceful behaviour from staff. They discriminated against a medical cannabis user at the door, because of the smell. Completely unacceptable discrimination. Should be ashamed. Will never visit or recommend.

Amazing food drinks and atmosphere! Staff were very nice and nothing was too much.

There is no problem in general, neither very much impressive. The location is great and the athmosphere is uni-like, student-friendly and has a special youngish vibe. I have visited twice, the last experience was quite woeful. The male toilet was just a disaster: two leaking pissoirs out of three plus a broken closable lavatory out of one, while a quiz was going on with a full house last Sunday. The drinks are quite expensive unless you could use your app. with some offers, student discounts, sales, coupons, etc. Have a nice visit, take care and stay safe! =)

Laura was amazing... I'm not from the area told us what was on on different nights and told us about the Mixr app which we downloaded on got free drinks. So helpful and friendly will definitely be back xx

Nice place really enjoy during football matches. But last time when i want to get in, got refused because i had a buble tea with me nd the security guy said u can’t get in until u finish it that was weird and wasn’t nice

Came by the pub the other day with a couple mates to watch the football , atmosphere was great , amazing beer garden . Got helped by the lovely girl on the bar , Courtney , on how to use the MIXR app and got a free drink through signing up to the app . Will definitely come back again

Usually drink here and good experience but tonight they robbed us 2 vodkas and dint wanna own up when we watched disgraceful place

I asked for two half pints of cider and recieved one full pint... when I tried to get the attention of the barmaid to ask for two half pint glasses, I was told off for interrupting as she was serving somebody else ahahaha

Dan the bartender upstairs on Wednesday the 28th of March was quick and efficient. Couldn’t recommend anyone else!

I often quite enjoy my experience at this pub however in recent weeks it has gone significantly downhill. From staff accusing people of saying things they didn’t then refusing to serve them, then power hungry bouncers saying you can’t vape outside (the designated smoking area) but you’ll also get kicked out and barred if you vape inside. Place needs a staff turnaround ASAP (with the exception of 2/3) if they want to keep any customers.

Lovely Laura was very kind and chatty while she made my drinks, pleasant atmosphere and good music, will have to come again soon!

The last few times I've been here, I have been disappointed. It's an overpriced pint that is average at best. The security staff aren't particularly nice either, not horrible just bit of a jobs worth and over the top. Think it's lost its charm

Did not have food but I am sure it is good. A good night out I spent £45 nearly £50 pounds. But I like beer's and spirits and they have a good selection.!

Had a lovely visit to the Phoenix bar. All the staff was very nice but 1 person stud out from the rest, a lovely young lady called B from Portugal who has been working in the industry since she was 18 who was now 23,(I hope I'm right) and also love's hiking, which I helped plan her next hiking route in a area where I used to live. B had a lovely respect for the industry and bar she worked at and told me about the events and drinks sold at the bar, it was my 1st time having some of the drinks she was telling to me to try i must of had 4 different mixed shots and my 1st time having a mini Guinness which was absolutely awesome. Thank you B for making this old mad feel welcome, I'm not old but my body is broken from having to work hard for industry so I feel older than I am . All the staff are very nice and the food is awesome anyone visiting Coventry please visit here for a brake cool music great staff and awesome food.

Very nice pub to watch football. Prices are reasonable too. I am not sure if they have different prices for students and how can you prove it.

Young crowd (mostly in the large beer garden) in what essentially is a pub with loud playlist music. Staff were friendly. Definitely a good place to start. We walked passed about 0100 and it was still just as busy in the garden
