Real Burger in Lewes

First visit here to order our takeaway , after being recommended to try the Burgers. Pleased to report the burgers were superb will return again or next time will ask for a delivery.. Friendly staff..

I can honestly say, this was the best burger I have EVER had, beautiful, even though I'm totally full, I'm so sad it's over.. Will DEFINITELY be ordering again and will DEFINITELY be telling everyone how AMAZING it is.. Easy to order, super fast delivery and so so tasty and fresh... Love it. Xx

Ordered food for me and my Girlfriend delivered to the house. What can I say, absolutely piping hot and extremely tasty.

We've had many burgers from here in the past and have never been disappointed until lat night! (21.6.24) The burger was thinner than normal and very gristly, and the portion of chips have halved in size. Very sad to have to write this. :(

Ordered delivery on Friday evening through website. Real smokey each, some chicken bites and fries. We appreciated the delivery to our accommodation even though they said they don't normally deliver there, was slower than anticipated but great food once arrived. Amazing burger, would recommend.

You just can't beat these burgers.. Even if there was another burger place in Lewes, I would still order from RealBurger. You will not be left hungry, or disappointed. Great service. Great people. Best burger I've ever had..And I've tried A LOT!

Incredible. Ordered on the phone and drove down from Uckfield, order ready when I arrived. Food was fresh, high quality and unique to other burger joints. Price fair for the quality provided. Will absolutely be back to try the other burgers.

It was our daughters 17th and she wanted burgers from here as apparently they were really good. I drove past the mobile van earlier in the day and was a bit sceptical, but I shouldn't have worried. Five burgers, chicken nuggets and three fries later I was very impressed. The burgers are delicious, its all hot and very nicely packed. Generous portions and friendly service. Can't fault it. I collected but they do delivery. Lots of good reviews elsewhere and from our experience these are well deserved. A good birthday treat and we will be returning.

Amazing burgers and chicken! Really friendly team- our flat is hard to find for delivery and my directions were rubbish but they were very nice about it and the food still arrived hot and delicious. The Spicy burger is awesome and the kids declared their chicken bites "incredibly delicious" 😊. Highly recommended, we'll be eating there again for sure!

The burgers and chicken nuggets they serve are truly exceptional – hands down the top-notch option in Lewes. It's a bit unfortunate that their delivery service isn't very consistent, and their opening hours can be a bit unpredictable. They occasionally close off orders on their website, which can be a downer. Nevertheless, I'm consistently pleased whenever I'm able to successfully place an order! Also, it is a bit pricey for a burger and chips, so hopefully they don't put prices up anymore!

Not great for veggies, veggie burger is a mushroom and quite expensive

First time ordering from Real Burger Lewes and we were really impressed with the taste and the quality of the food. The gluten free bun was tasty too, which is not always the case with GF! Prompt delivery service also - we will definitely be ordering again.

Came upon this burger van by accident but will be definitely returning another day. The food was fantastic and the service was very friendly and nothing was a bother the guy. it's a yes from me!

A law unto themselves about when they’re open. Been there 3 times between 12-1pm over 2 weeks and no one there each time. Open on time or change your opening times. Disappointing as I’ve heard good things

Don’t let the humble roadside location fool you. This is not just a greasy takeaway. Burgers and chicken bites taste great. Better recipes than almost all the pubs in town. Excellent value for the quality

Second time of ordering and certainly not disappointed. Ordered family a meal with burgers, chicken nuggets and chips. Meal is amazing from the start including the packaging which acts as a plate so no washing up. Additions to the burgers means everyone is happy. All packaging is recyclable….

I had the Spicy Burger, my wife the Real Burger. We shared a generous portion of chips. Service with a smile - I was even given a spoonful of their homemade smokey sauce to try. Next visit will be the Smokey Burger for me. Cost was a tenner (£9 for my wife's) which I think was good value as both burgers were amazing. We'll be back...

Great burgers, friendly service, great comms. Would buy again! We had 2 burgers, a Real Burger (for my wife) and a Spicy Burger (for me). Portion of chips as well. Delivered by motorcycle so arrived hot and tasty. I was even messaged afterwards to check all was well.

Best Burger for miles! The beef patty is extremely high quailty, cooked to perfectection and they definietly do not skimp on the fillings!

Loved this place. The burgers, including the veggie mushroom burger, were outstanding, and the fries were great too. The guys running it were super helpful and friendly, and obviously cared about the quality of the food they were serving. Among the best burgers we've ever had.

Couldn’t rate this enough. The food was excellent. The burger was cooked just right and the chips were crispy. Fast delivery, and the food was piping hot. Highly recommend.

Very yummy, scrumptious burger and substantial chicken bites. Definitely recommended if you're hankering after a burger. Tasty to the last bite and comes in a well thought out, sturdy paper box with vents. No soggy burgers by the time you get home :) Do note that RBL is a food cart and situated beside North Street Garage, opposite the fire station. If you don't know what you're looking for, its not so obvious to find.

Bit expensive as most of these so called gourmet burgers are,I suppose with shop overheads the prices have to be. Delivered hot as the bags were stapled up, Quick efficient service. (Well done boys) I would recommend them.

Best burger in Lewes by a mile! The chicken nuggets were great, way better than the big fast food chains. Friendly delivery driver as well. We will definitely be using them often and will try the fries next time.
