The best restaurants serving American food in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

There were 8 of us,the taking of the orders was a little slow,we waited about 20 minutes before we managed to place are orders,then it took an hour before the food arrived. The good part The food was fantastic and we had 6 different meals,w the same,all of us enjoyed their meal and said if the service was a little quicker then it would of been a great night.

Do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a takeout. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, homemade taste, food prepped with love – everything we've tasted melted in other mouths. Highly recommend!

A group of 11 of us went for the early bird. Garcia welcomed us and made us feel super at ease. Food was exceptional. Service was fun and attentive. Portions are huge. Very satisfied and keen to return soon. Thankyou Garcia and all the talented people at Gringos

Came to miller and carter mirfield 9/11/24 to celebrate a family members 18th birthday very good food as always a tad slow on one drink order but otherwise very good overall

The ordering online was simple, quick and easy. The delivery was on time, food was hot. Wow! Didn’t know if I ordered a fish or a whale😀 it was huge! Mounds of chips. Value you for money, without a doubt. Tasty too. Fish was succulent and the chips were proper chips… yummy! Time for a nap!

I got the 1/2 pound brisket which was the driest toughest meat I’ve tasted and I pint of coke which was finished in a couple of mouthfuls due to a full glass of ice. And the tiniest portions aswell was more a la carte than American portions 😂. The mrs got Mac and cheese which she enjoyed to be fair and a cloudy lemonade which was quite tasty too. But all in all very very disappointing with how long we have been waiting to come try it, I only wish we would have waited longer. Don’t think we will be going again!!!!

Not too bad, overpriced but I'd prefer a comd McDonalds for the price!

Have been to this place couple of times with family. Very happy with everything. The food was delicious, staff were friendly, the chef came to ask how was the food and on top of all was happy to see manager a hands on person. He wasn't just sitting there but worked as part of a team. 10/10 both times.

Having eaten here for both breakfast and dinner I have to say it is really decent food for a mid range hotel. The selection at breakfast is vast and fresh, the new evening menu has a good selection of tasty meals. I tasted the ceasar salad which came without anchovies as advertised however was tasty and fresh. The chunky chips were delicious and some of the best I have eaten. I also had the focaccia and the tagliatelle pasta which again was tasty and fresh. A big applause for the chef. Whatever she/he does they do it well and deserve a shout out on here.

Excellent food with brilliant service from the young girl Meadow who was very friendly and always on hand. Will definitely be visiting again soon
