The best restaurants serving American food in South West

A wonderful lady with short hair served us and she was very patient and very friendly she is the reason I am giving 5 star hope Starbucks will hire more lovely people like her 😊

I came in my lunch break today as I’d passed a few times and wanted to come in. And I’m so glad I did. Having spent 15 years in hospitality management previous to my current job, I can honestly say the experience was absolutely perfect. Attentive staff, great selection on the menu and a nice, clean atmosphere. The rump steak was incredible. Cooked perfectly medium rare and clearly rested well, with a consistent pink throughout and oozing juice. Lovely char on the steak also. I have never had a rump steak that tender. Lovely homemade crispy onion rings, well dressed salad too. I look forward to returning soon. Might even bring the wife. Thanks you all so much!

We were staying at the nearby caravan site, and booked to eat here on our last night before returning home. A quiet Sunday night, but nothing was too much trouble for our host. While waiting for the meal, my wife became unwell, (nothing to do with the restaurant or meal) so we were unable to stay and enjoy our meal. Our host packed the freshly cooked meals in takeaway trays so we could have later. I ate my steak once back at the caravan and it was delicious. Sorry we had to rush off, but our host was perfect and the food excellent. Would certainly return if we were back in the area.

Went here on the Saturday night, on the recommendation of our B n B hosts. Very friendly greeting on arrival from the man behind the bar. chatted about all the usual things after being served our drinks. The club was fairly lively lately with a great mix of young and old to watch the live music and socialise. Not a hint of any trouble anywhere, lovely place to spend a Saturday night.

Great nights, with the empties ready to go. Never a dull night and a great leaving party for the two travellers. Have a great trip

My daughter arranged an afternoon tea for us . The cakes were delicious, sandwiches were tasty and fresh. Served by miserable staff which sadly made us feel unwelcome and unlikely to return.

I fancied an iced frappe or a milkshake, I saw this place and it looked great with an extensive menu. I like to give independent places my custom so I ordered a milkshake. I didn’t go for anything fancy. It came in a paper cup and for £3.40 I must admit I did expect more. It was ok, frothy and milky but I could barely taste the flavour I left wishing I had gone to Starbucks!

The coffee is great and the best prices around for the quality and size. The light bites were delicious, again very well priced for what you get. Would definitely recommend if you aren’t too fussed about coffee with a view or environment or brand name.

Fantastic steaks and atmosphere, we went as a party of 10 all chose different steaks and they were superb, great service and friendly staff will definitely return.

Had an "online" work social function where my employer paid for us to order in food. Decided to try these guys as I have driven past a few times and never been in, and ordered via UberEats. The food was honestly some of the best "burger restaurant" food I've had. I had the You Poker burger. The beef pattie was moist and tasty, the pulled pork was incredible and the sauce was outstanding. I was literally texting my mates as I ate it telling them about it. The cheesy chips were well seasoned, and the cheese was a proper layering of several types of "real cheese", not like the grated stuff you get in kebab shops. Lastly I had the braised beef chilli Mac and Cheese. The box felt like it weighed a kilo or more. The mac and cheese was great, the beef was amazing and the spicy sauce gave it a kick but not so much that it distracted from the flavours. Honestly, I would say it's worth every penny. Can't comment on the premises as I had it delivered, but will be ordering again without a doubt.

I went to the bournemouth branch on Charminster Road. I asked for a recommendation which was the salt beef and cheese. The bagels were delicious. The beef was delicious. Everything about this was delicious. I was even given some peanuts which was a nice touch.

Have left a 5 star review not that long ago, still coming here, but the garden does seem to of lost some its appeal over that last few visits. Dog waste, rubbish bags and I thought the Karcher jet wash was left for me to do some cleaning! Still miss the grapevine. Food still amazing though, just feel it can give so much more.

Visited with my brother on a rainy Saturday. We enjoyed the cathedral views as we ate. The servers were very helpful - they took the time to check the ingredients for their milkshakes to see if they were suitable for me. I was really glad to see they were made from ‘natural’ pure as opposed to syrups as the syrups normally aggravate my ibs badly. So I got a real treat! We also ordered two fry ups - my only critique is there was a huge amount of beans which filled us up too much that we struggled to manage the toast. I think half the beans would have been perfect portion wise. It was all freshly made and delicious. I can’t wait to visit again!

First time to this restaurant, we went in on a Saturday lunchtime, we both had food from the build a burger menu and I must say it was very enjoyable! I upgraded to loaded chips, I wasn't keen on the chips (the cheese, bacon and spring onions were lovely) I prefer fries though but that is obviously a personal preference. The part we were sat in felt quite dark, the walls and ceiling were painted a dark blue, not sure if this is intentional, but would be nice if it was lighter. Overall I would recommend this restaurant, both our burgers were really good and if we come again I would like to try from their build a shake menu!
