The best restaurants serving American food in Manchester North West

Wrays is a funky lil space in the heartland of South Manchester. Heart being the operative word, Lilian couldn’t do enough for us, even changing the music to 80’s soul! We were made to feel right at home from the off. The vibe and menu is spot on. Everything we ordered was fresh, super tasty and very reasonably priced. Thank you Wrays so much for your warm welcome and amazing food. A gem of a place.

Came here with my partner as we were both in the mood for some burgers. I'd managed to find out about this place purely just through looking on Google maps as we didn't want to visit the bigger more well known burger places in Manchester... So glad we did as the food was absolutely bang on. We got the jalepeno bhajis to start, which were a very tasty refreshing change to an onion bhaji! I then got the Osaka chicken burger with salt and pepper fries and my partner got the maple bacon burger with normal fries. We barely spoke to each other as we enjoyed our food! Service was very attentive, run by a lovely lady and chef friend in the kitchen! As we had booked online, we even got free churros which I just about managed to fit in! I'm not normally a fan of churros, but these were too good to be missed. Serves soft drinks, but alcoholic beverages can be brought up from the bar downstairs. 100% recommend to anyone wondering whether to come, you won't be disappointed!

Top notch pizza! I've had kebabs and chicken previously from chicken and cheese and that's been brilliant too! Ordered a special chicken shwarma pizza tonight and although cleaning up and getting ready to close fired it all back up and made me one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff are such lovely people and nothing is too much trouble. Love this takeaway. Well worth checking out.

Ordered the Chick’n Burger with some B*con Mac n Cheeze, just incredible! Such good fake chicken too. I’ve already planned my next order - cannot wait!

Absolutely amazing burger! The potato brioche was delicious with the sesame and poppy seeds on top! Sauce was super tasty and not taking over the perfectly cooked beef patty flavours! Well balanced, great food! 10 out of 10

Great burger joint, with a really welcoming service, and great flavours. The Grilled Buffalo Wing's were a great way to start the meal, but were a little pinker than I was comfortable with. The classic burger 🍔 had a great spicy hit which made it pretty original and the orange smoke was a delights with the smokey mayo. Will definitely go back to give it another try 😉

We were staying nearby and came for steaks. Absolutely amazing, good quality meat and nice portions. Service was great, friendly and personal. The macaroni cheese is the best I ever had and well worth the trip up to Manchester.

The food is that amazing here that this is the third time have eaten there this week! It’s scrumptious and mouth watering !! The chicken burgers are the best chicken burgers we have ever had! And the wings are also mind blowing. If you’re looking for a great chicken spot to eat at then I strongly recommend BIRDS OF PREY!!!!!

Pasé por Soul Coffee alrededor de la 1 pm un domingo. Tuve un flat white y las tostadas francesas. Pan super esponjoso, salsa de caramelo dulce y algunos arándanos. Es un lugar pequeño con un servicio amable y rápido. Un gran lugar para los golosos.

The burger was good, like a dressed up home made burger. The wonderfully presented, not the best and for sure not the worst. Portions are very American. (Aka large) The American diner vibe is fine but the seats desperately need to be replaced, peeling and falling apart. which is why I gave that portion 2 stars. Worth a stop if you are in the area , but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
