Wrays Cafe Bar in Manchester

Wrays is a funky lil space in the heartland of South Manchester. Heart being the operative word, Lilian couldn’t do enough for us, even changing the music to 80’s soul! We were made to feel right at home from the off. The vibe and menu is spot on. Everything we ordered was fresh, super tasty and very reasonably priced. Thank you Wrays so much for your warm welcome and amazing food. A gem of a place.

Called in Wrays for a bite to eat with my daughter , food excellent and my little girl loves the slushes , service very good what more can I say , overall happy will be back

I'm from London and came to hang out in Manchester with friends and family. We had some amazing drinks with lovely staff and a champion vibe!! I didn't want to leave but my cousin wanted to hang out in town. I wish we'd stayed. We don't have these in London. Next time I'm in manc town I'm definitely coming again. My cousin can do one.

I have been to Wray’s on numerous occasions and they have failed to disappoint every time. I recommend the rum shake it is to die for also the mutton patties are very tasty. Looking forward to my next visit.

Eight of us stumbled across this lovely little cafe bar on our way to a gig Highly recommended, friendly welcome , excellent coffee wish we could have stayed longer and sampled the rum

So so soooo IMPRESSED with the food & service! Restaurant clean and friendly food was the best i’ve tasted in a while! My mouth is still tingling with gorgeous flavours! 100% recommended!!!

Called in with family and instantly welcomed by friendly staff who served up some of the tastiest food I've had in Manchester.DEFINITELY going back for more!

Lovely place, food and customer service. Warmly greeted by Lillian, took the time to go over the menu and explain some dishes. Very reasonably priced and served fairly quickly to a high standard. Took a slice of cake to go which was also delicious. Would recommend, happy we found the place, will return.

Soul food with great service! DJ plays on the weekend so if you want just a nice relaxed vibe this is the perfect place! They do all sorts from Bagels to chicken and rice and milkshakes and off course Wray and nephews slush

Top o the hill ! Not many gaffes like wrays ! It’s the type of place you walk into and feel you’ve found it! Smillles everywhere! Brilliant layout! Great background music! Food delicious! Greeted very warmly by rochell! And served promptly and very professionally by I believe rochell ‘s mother! I doubt there has ever been a visitor that hasn’t returned! Bless you girls! 1love! I AM IN LURVE! The standard has been set by Wrays who consistently provide a well respected & scrumptious service. The atmosphere is welcoming & I could chat to the women behind the scenes all day, would recommend 1000%. If you’re looking for well seasoned & flavoursome cafe food with a Jamaican twist, Wrays is the place to go! They sell alcohol also & a personal favourite of mine is their ‘rumslushes’, order/pop by cause you wanna know what I’m talking about 💜

I work across the city and often need a place to refuel and recharge. Considering the options, Wrays tops the list. Great music, right atmosphere. I’ve not even started on the food yet👨🏽‍🍳👩🏽‍🍳 Go TEAM👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

They do wrays rum slush and if you love rum you will love their alcohol slushes perfect for the summer

Having visited Wrays numerous times I can honestly say this is ‘the spot’. Sooo friendly and welcoming, everybody is welcome. Great food with loads of choice and the drinks menu is heaven. Pro tip = Wrays rum slush is a must!
