Ernies Cafe in Manchester

My go to place first thing in the morning before work, I can give 115 reasons to recommend but cannot list them all! Overall excellent service from start to finish and love supporting a local business too! Keep it up Dan!

Really nice large fry up for £9.50. BUT! I didn't get my cup of tea until I had nearly finish my food. It was an awful cup of tea. Cherry on the cake is the guy is super miserable. No reply to my good morning or good bye. 1 word answers rest of the time. Not a nice experience

Popped in here for a butty after parkrun in nearby Wythenshawe park. Lovely food and great service. Cheers

Food was ok the service was ok too but the prices for the food portion size was shocking.. £9.50 for a large breakfast that was basically a small breakfast at best.. I think they’re taking advantage of little to no cafes in the area and just put the prices up

Was at the Park and needed some Breakfast after seeing Wythenshawe Park Cafe closed, we opted for Ernie’s over the posh deli and takeaways around the area. Good stuff.

OMG! What a finding this place was for me! It's been a while that I was looking for a delicious and well-served English breakfast! The food is absolutely delicious, the place is really cleaner than most of places I've been to. Great place, great price and amazing food ❤️ I hope you enjoy it!!

Poor customer service from owner. Sandwich did not clearly state cheese in my opinion and had to make myself sick. Ordered seperate sandwich charged again last time I will use them shocking how I was treated

Ernie’s still fryin’ after all these years. Keeping up the good work. Perfect for a bite to eat before you get to The Tunnel® and realise somethings happened, you’re not sure what, but something is definitely happening.

Loved this place. We have done the smashed avocado on dough bread in Didsbury but sometimes you just want a good, traditional full English that's value for money. The breakfast was great, Ernie was lovely. We felt like we had popped to a friends for breakfast. Loved it so much we are going back tomorrow. Thanks Ernie Cathy and Richard

Had breakfast here a few times and always fantastic. The wife agrees with me too. Coffee is amazing and breakfast is always very good. The fella is very nice too and always happy to chat. Was hoping to get a breakfast this morning but he was closed. Made the mistake of trying a place in Northenden and it didn't even come close to Ernie's.

Great place for breakfast and my 8 year old daughter loved it! The also have kids meals so we were very happy, highly recommended!

The Paul Rutter Removal team were incredibly happy to have found this little gem of a cafe. Dan is a top bloke that runs it and the breakfast is incredible.

We popped in on a removal from South Wales and had a couple of full English breakfast. Couldn't fault it at all. Everything was perfectly cooked and great ingredients. Will be back if in the area again.

Was nearby and needed some lunch. Opted for Ernie’s over a sad sandwich from Nisa. BLT baguette was amazing. Might go again tomorrow.

My family and I visited the surroundings Manchester for a quick layover. We came across Earnie’s and decided to have breakfast there. It has a good variety of English breakfast foods. The cook was very friendly and cooked nicely, the food was warm and tasty. One of my kids even mentioned it was the best breakfast she ever had. I recommend this if you are interested in a classic English breakfast in different forms such as breakfast sandwiches, wraps, etc. Good quality.

Made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Had Full English x3. Food was perfectly presented and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning again

Been here loads of times for sandwiches but never tried the breakfast until today. I had large breakfast my other half had regular breakfast both of which came with a drink,food was outstanding as was the service i,ll be coming back here real soon for breakfast. I would give it 6 stars if i could. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first visit since the end of Lockdown and I hadn't realised how much I'd missed it. The Full English has everything and great to be able to have toast and fried bread. Always great banter as well. Hopefully be less of a wait before my next visit.

Before going to ernies cafe I’d tried all the closer cafes first and didn’t really rate them. Once I came here for breakfast I didn’t go anywhere Else. All parts of the breakfast were delicious and very well arranged for a take away box

I come to here regularly and wouldn’t change it for any other ,excellent food ,amazing service and great value for your money ,highly recommended.

We stayed Air BnB which frequently fails to provide the second B. So the next morning I did a search for places to eat near me and Ernies came up. We had eggs, bacon, sausage x2 and beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast x2 with tea or coffee. Limited table space but take away available.

High quality food and excellent value. Great selection and happy to cook things not even on the menu.Friendly atmosphere and well worth a visit when feeling hungry. I even brought a selection of cakes home with me to have later. Also Offer a local delivery service and outside catering at affordable prices.

This is your place if you're looking for good hot honest food for a great price. Go see big Danny and he'll serve you up a treat. And if you ever get the chance to try his cheesecake...... you won't regret it.

Been to many cafes and enjoyed many but Ernies is wonderful.. Food was lovely delivered fast and exactly what ordered.. Owner was great and catered for every request.. Five star hygiene rated and great English Cafe!! What more can ask for!!
