The Italian owner is friendly and advises you on what to eat.. very nice place and excellent meat.. Too bad the bill was €210 for two steaks for 3... without wine and without desserts just a potato as a side dish.. it could have been a little more sincere..

Ce sera donc notre première et DERNIÈRE visite chez Ed's Victoria Station English:We knew Picadily's Ed's (perfect), and wanted to try that one. First we are placed on an uncleaned table, seeing our reaction the waitress changes us table ... The order was fast and the service as much, little wait in between. Once our dish finished, we were looking at the dessert menu when the waitress (Nadya) brings us the bill without asking us if we wanted a dessert, in fact she just put us out! This "Nadya" seemed to be the head of the service. This will be our first and last visit at Ed's Victoria Station

Great coffee and fresh sandwiches. Definitely coming back for a light breakfast. Friendly staff and good service. Thanks for a lovely experience.

PROS: - Location: • Awesome. Literally 100m. from Victoria Stn. • 15' walking to Big Ben/Westminster Abbey and 8' to Buckingham Palace. • 100m. from Market Halls Victoria (great to eat different dishes around the area). • From Stansted Airport you take the National Express (A7 to Victoria) and once you arrive at the Victoria Coach Station, you just need to walk 5' to the hotel. Safety area 24/7 with people always walking around. • 200m. from Wicked, the musical. - Staff: extremely nice and helpful. - Clean: no complaints about it. - Modern: not a typical old Victorian hotel. All amenities included. - Breakfast: not the best but decent. Toasts, coffee, juices, some pastries, fruits, yogurs, cereals and yummy naan breads. You can choose this option or you can have breakfast every day on a Starbucks or similar (not ideal for a 5 days trip). CONS: - Room size: comfy, modern but very small room (we got it double with window). I found it very annoying. It's ok that they are small but if you pay for a window-room, you should be able to open it. At least a bit (they are security windows prepared for hospitality). After you shower, you had to open the door for some time to at least be able to breath a bit and also to air the room. AC helps but it's not the solution at all. If I was the owner of the hotel, I would redesign it. Better to have less rooms and more expensive than the ones they have now but offering a poorer experience.

Came here today waited 25 minutes for food 3 staff taking orders 2 in kitchen and 1 serving. Manager called to one angry lady he just said sorry and sneaked back into his office, 1 guy missed 2 trains waiting abd sone people behind us got their orders in 3 minutes. Total shambles I demanded to cancel and get a refund and the guy just looked at me with a blank stare. Never going back.
