The best restaurants serving American food in East of England

This is my first time coming for a meal at xoxo grill house and I have no words to describe my experience , lively customer service, food was amazing and the service even better. Azair has given us a random experience I recommend

A real surprise. We weren’t sure about this restaurant & take away as it seemed to be in a garage forecourt, but it was amazing. Fantastic, beautifully presented and tasty food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of choice for both meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans (ask for the vegan menu). If you are near here, try it! You won’t be disappointed. We will be back.

We had spent some time looking for a cake and coffee stop and found this hidden gem by chance. We came quite late in the day so there was not as much choice of cake as there could have been but the rocky road we had was the best we have ever tasted. Absolutely amazing. The man who was looking after us was so friendly and made our visit very very enjoyable. Thank you

Amazing place, the food was incredible and the owners are so lovely! They allowed me to hire the venue for an afternoon tea party for a surprise baby shower and they truly went above and beyond with it! Everyone was commenting on how incredible the food was (there wasn’t much left!) and how friendly but professional the staff were! Will definitely be in touch again for future events and family outings as they also provide high chairs for babies/toddlers which is so helpful as I have twin toddlers so it’s great to know they can be safe while we all enjoy a drink and some cake! The lovely couple from the Papas Locas food truck visited us at the Alpheton village hall and I cannot say enough about both the food and the lovely owners of Papas Locas. So many great responses from everyone at the hall and we’d love to have you back! Highly recommend!

Pong was a place that was a spontaneous thing one evening, now is a must do anytime me and my friends go out. The activities there are brilliant from a regular game of ping pong to an extremely entertaining game of beer pong, with some variations with other spirits. The atmosphere of the place is always lively and jubilant, never has there been a time of boredom. The staff are the most down to earth and spectacular hosts, with Nes, Greg, Mark and Tadi always ready to greet you with the kindest smiles, no matter the occasion. I can only wish that everyone, whether living in Southend or just visiting, have the opportunity to go to this amazing place as it truly is one of the best places for all to visit. If I were to have one last night out at any establishment, it would unequivocally have to be Pong. Thank you Pong for treating me and my friends as if we had know you all for years. We all thank you.

This is my most favourite gem in Wisbech. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food is always fabulous and well priced. The cake is just amazing I’m moving away and wish I could take it with me as I will miss visiting this lovely cafe.

This is quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever eaten and they do gluten free! If you are thinking you should get a takeaway then go here! Fries are epic, burgers insane and the chicken nug nugs are delicious. Go go go!

First time back at Southend in over five years & noticed this burger place opposite the entrance to Adventure island. Very reasonable price for a delicious ‘Five guys style’ burger. Brisket burger was fantastic. Mini Mac and cheese balls were also nice. Definitely visit again and recommend to anybody down Southend for the day!
