Porterhouse in Epping Forest

A birthday meal out with family was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The food was outstanding, service very friendly and attentive. One member of our group has an allergy was dealt with without any fuss or bother. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all.

Such a warm welcome always here and delicious food and drinks too. The service is excellent. We visit here occasionally and it never disappoints. The staff are attentive and helpful and food is tasty and well presented.

I almost don't want to rave about this too much in case everyone starts going and i can't get in. To start with the service is unbelievable, i've been a few times and get such a warm welcome from every single person. Amazing team, so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food is also fantastic every time , we eat out a lot and the Porterhouse steak with rustic potatoes and side salad is my favourite go to dish. Pre-dinner cocktails in the bar to start and a lovely red with dinner = perfection. We will keep coming back - thanks everyone at Porterhouse for looking after us so well.

I’ve been here a few times times now and each time the food has been consistently great and the service is super efficient and really friendly. They do a great offer for lunch which is amazing value. It’s a really great place to have on the high st. Gonna try the Sunday sharing platter next. Looks amazing.

Been twice now, had a steak both times and it was fabulous - even down to a very tasty, perfectly dressed side salad.

A lovely but tiny wine bar type vibe, the service was brilliant and personal too. Lovely food on offer at the bar also - however I’m not sure I would want to eat in the restaurant at the back, it looked teeny when I walked past. Great cocktails and wine!
