Keto Bite in Tendring

The food was great. The service attention and response to modifying the dishes was excellent. Mine host was very engaging and efficient. Will go again.

Although I’m not following the Keto diet, I like to eat well and stumbling upon Keto Bites yesterday was a treat. Super friendly, informative and interesting staff, my wife and I tried the Chaffles followed by some to the keto cakes and wow, what an amazing experience. So much so, we ordered one of their pizzas to take home for tea and had that instead of our planned meal. A tasty and varied menu, we’ll definitely be going back for more. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch today it was so great to be able to eat low carb food and have choices too ! We had chuffles which tasted amazing, Having been on a low carb diet for 6 months and only been able to have jelly or yoghurts for dessert I was able to take a keto Victoria Sandwich slice to enjoy at home . I have so missed having cake . We will definitely be back to enjoy the food and see the lovely staff again .

Wonderful experience from start to finish at this cosy café. The food was delicious, fresh and healthy. As a starter, we tried the broccoli and stilton soup and mixed vegetable soup served with linseed bread and keto focaccia. As a main we shared the pan-roasted salmon and avocado salad with a side of chaffles (savoury mozzarella cheese waffles). For dessert we tried the moss cake (coloured green with spinach) and the peanut and chocolate slice. The café owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to visiting again for breakfast or lunch!

We changed our life style and have been eating Keto for many years now. I love cooking and baking myself but sadly not many places offer a full Keto menu. So this was mega exciting for us, we traveled pretty far and we were Not disappointed. The food was delicious and so were all the cakes too. We are planning another meal here before we end our mini weekend away. I would also like to add that the staff we all very warm and friendly and so was the restaurant! 10 out of 10 from us.

Popped into this lovely cafe on a recent visit to Frinton. Lovely food, perfect poached eggs and salmon. Lovely, knowledgeable man who served us.

My second visit in 7 days! Well worth the drive from Braintree. Had a Thai chicken curry, followed by cake and coffee. Good selection of low carb beer and drinks plus regular coffee and tea. The staff are excellent.

Called in here because there was an outside table free and we wanted a cuppa. The gentleman who served us was very knowledgeable about the cafe and enthusiastic about describing their USP. I might not be diabetic or on a keto diet but his enthusiasm won me over and so I tried a portion of their gluten and sugar free tiramisu. It was delicious! There were several delicious looking cake choices available. What an excellent idea to cater for those who need to be careful regarding their diet. There was a lady having lunch who had had lunch the previous day and was so impressed that she had brought a friend on an hour and a half’s journey to treat her to lunch! I wish them every success and I hope that more places follow their lead.

With friendly and home made food keto bite is a wonderful cafe. My party ordered a pizza, pulled pork burger and a hallumi burger we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The deserts are spectacular. They taste like any normal cake but they are so low in sugar and carbohydrates. It is so nice to eat out somewhere and not have to leave items of food on the plate. I would recommend for anyone to try but especially people in keto and gluten free!

So much care and love is put into everything in this place. The guy that runs it is SUPER lovely and everything is DELICIOUS. My friend had the special pulled pork Chaffle and I had the most tasty and fresh halloumi salad I’ve ever had! Thank you so much. Beautiful spot not to be missed! And gooooood for your body.

Nice friendly cafe lovely sugar free cakes. Dog friendly happy staff. Bit pricey but coffee and cakes are nice.

Excellent keto style cafe which serves chaffles - waffles made with almond flour instead of wheat flour. They were light and delicious. I had perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and my companion had the eggs with bacon - both dishes were excellent. Coffee really good too and the service first class. Overall an excellent experience.

A great place to meet up for breakfast or lunch. Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed my ‘chaffels’ with poached eggs and smoked salmon, my husband had a coffee and tiramisu. My daughter and her partner both had pan seared salmon with avocado salad which looked delicious! Great food at great prices.

Great place for gluten free meals. Has only been open about a year. Totally gluten free chaffles, a combination of cheese and waffles. My wife and I both had the mushrooms with Stilton chaffles, which were delicious. They also have a selection of cakes, brownies and focaccia. Prices are reasonable, and staff are lovely. We will certainly come back.
