We had spent some time looking for a cake and coffee stop and found this hidden gem by chance. We came quite late in the day so there was not as much choice of cake as there could have been but the rocky road we had was the best we have ever tasted. Absolutely amazing. The man who was looking after us was so friendly and made our visit very very enjoyable. Thank you

Popped in as we were passing and pleasantly surprised... Had the option of three gluten free options! Two of us were gluten free so picked too cakes which were lovely... Also a monster peanut butter cookie which was reportedly lovely too... Run by a really nice couple... Really nice atmosphere will return!

Sam had already made a brilliant LEVEL 42 cake for my son. I decided i wanted something historical for my 70th birthday, and am very interested in Anne Boleyn and Blickling Hall. I was completely wowed with the finished result. I wanted a figure of Anne on it and its brilliant.My son who collected it said it looked too good to eat, and he was right! Lovely tasty sponge inside and so creative. Just check her Website out. If you want something special this is the place to go!

Excellent, excellent cakes but I have had to go on cake withdrawal as I am trying to diet but rest assured I will have a cake from Sam and Gary as a treat after I have lost a few pounds.The quality of the cakes is outstanding.

For my wife's 60th birthday I wanted something different. She loves Pheasants so Sam came up with a life-size pheasant that was incredibly detailed. The colours were amazing (can be seen on their Facebook page). The cake was both gluten and diary free as my wife is intolerant to both. It tasted fantastic, the price was great value and it was the centre piece of our celebrations. Thanks Gary and Sam for making it such a memorable day. We have ordered another cake for our granddaughter's 1st birthday of a cartoon character can't wait to see what these talented duo come up with.

We happened to stop here by chance when we saw that they had a vegan option available. So obviously we had to stop for one. The next day walking past we were greeted by Gary and Sam and walked in for a chat. On a whim as it was my nans 80th birthday the next day and we were visiting from Essex we asked if they could do a vegan birthday cake for us. As their were two vegans and one of us that is diary free. They were very happy to oblige. The cake was amazing every one loved it. Sam and Gary are both super friendly. If and when we are in the area we will be visiting again!!

If I could have given six stars I would. Cakes are delicious and well worth the money. Their cakes are priced in line with other local shops but better quality by far. Their cakes are so good that I have a regular weekly order (four cakes) especially for my fat, eat what you like Saturdays. I can't recommend enough and worth going out of your way to visit on a pamper yourself day. I would buy every cake in the shop if I thought my waistline could cope!

Blink and you miss it - tucked away near Tesco. This place is all about quality not quantity (certainly didn't see any sawdust!). Sam and Gary offer a welcome normally reserved for a five star restaurant. The cakes are homemade - never frozen - and taste superb. My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant (not a fashionable fad but a medical condition) and Sam will go out of her way to accommodate her. Try the cheesecake - the last one (there is a different one each Saturday) was a lime Jaffa cake - or the 'Rocky Roads'. Sam is making our granddaughter's christening cake - not sure it will make the christening.

We came very last Minute to order a Birthday cake for our son. The cake was delicious and Gary was super friendly and even opened the shop an hour early so that we could pick it up early on the Birthday.

If I could 0 star I would. Im not one to review places but after trying the bloody awful overpriced crap from this place I felt I had too. All the cakes in the shop are gluten free even though they advertise that they do regular cakes too, now I have nothing against gluten free cakes but these were like eating sawdust. On top of that the cost is outragous. For two cupcakes it was £5. Now my wife and eye decided that after a terrible 6 months we would celebrate with some delicious looking cakes. We decided to take them home to eat them, which is a shame as i wish i had stayed there so i could get a refund as they were the worst things i have ever eaten.

My husband got me a birthday cake from Aunty Sams and it was absolutely lovely. Good price and everyone enjoyed it.

As I passed this little cake shop I noticed they sold vegan cupcakes and brownies. Of course being vegan myself I had to try them out. Saying the cupcake tasted wonderful is an understatement. I can honestly say it was the best vegan cake I have had (and I've had several!). I gave one to my non-vegan friend, and full praise received. Thumbs up all round. They also do special occasion cakes, so I will definitely be ordering one in the future. Great to find another vegan outlet. This bakery is well worth a visit.

Called in to Aunty Sam's Cakes today as I wanted to treat myself. What a find this place is. Will definitely be going back.

My third visit today and it’s always such a lovely visit. The man who works there is SO sweet. The cakes are delicious and so reasonably priced too. The munchies cupcake is my favourite

Aunty Sam's cakes are brilliant and not to be missed.All cupcakes and traybakes are all homemade,and are very lovely.Aunty Sam caters for everyone,she makes gluten free and also vegan,so no one is left out.If you want a birthday,wedding cake made to order just pop a long to see Sam at the shop and will make what you want.It is the most friendly shop and so helpful,so pop down to the shop and get the freshly made cakes daily.This shop is not to missed,not good for the diet ha ha xxx.
