I was so happy to find out nearly 40 years later that Mrs Will has taken over from her husband and is keeping the delicious catches coming. We had a lobster platter for two and it was better presented and tastier than any fish restaurant we've eaten in, anywhere in Europe. Fantastic!

Not much to say other than this place does delicious ice cream, set in a traditional farm environment. The cows on the farm provide all the milk for the ice cream and it is all made in house. Well worth a visit. I'd post a picture of our ice creams but we were all too eager to eat them to take photos. It was so delicious that we went out of our way to visit a second time on the last day of our holiday!

Always used to love going to Mamgu's in Solva. Kinda surprised to hear they'd moved. As to new St. David's location..well...not as cosy. Will definitely seat more people, but furniture a bit too greasy spoon for me. Trivial Pursuit cards on table nice touch, but sadly just ended up using them to balance wonky table leg. Biggest let down though was food. Wife had 'loaded welsh cakes' with lukewarm beans. (Yes I know we should have complained, but really shouldn't have to) I had the 'welsh rarebit breakfast' which consisted of- 1 slice rarebit toast with fried egg on top I veggie sausage 1 slice halloumi (smaller than playing card) 1 large mushroom, cut in half And that 'lot' was £11!! (That's just the rarebit, not including loaded welsh cakes.) It was tasty, but for just shy of £11, that's not enough food. Not that this review will worry Mamgu's, as footfall for this new location will ensure they do well. But sadly, I don't think we will be returning anytime soon

Having read previous reviews I cancelled our booking in the Harbour Inn and booked to eat here instead. The restaurant has clearly changed hands recently and we were in fact greeted by the new owner who was enjoying a glass of wine with his chef at a table by the entrance and when we mentioned we had booked a table he told us to sit wherever we liked....it wasn't busy! This very relaxed approach was fine in the circumstances and in fairness the owner did then give us a ringing endorsement of his chef. Fortunately he wasn't wrong. We had breaded whitebait which was spot on and I had a brilliant fish chowder that was worth every penny and more. My wife went with simple fish and chips which was basic but well cooked. Obviously this was at the very end of summer and everywhere has quietened down (when we walked back past the Harbour Inn after dinner it was almost empty) and this restaurant is in transition. Consequently it rather lacked atmosphere, but the food was both very tasty and excellent value so we felt it only right to tip generously.Hopefully as word gets round that there is a new owner and a good chef the trade will pick up.

Ordered two crab sandwiches latte and a beer, £35. Staff need a pick me up or it’s been a hard season. The crab sandwich was good, spoonful of coleslaw, frozen chips. Was told to help myself to a glass for the beer, everyone looked not properly washed, picked the cleanest but still had bubbles down inside indicating grease. Latte was tasteless. Not a pleasant experience won’t be back.

The Inn is very well located on The Pembrokeshire coastal path. We were there during our walking holiday for 3 nights. The rooms are big enough and have a spacious bathroom. It’s great to have a drink outside on the terrace after a good walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast are great

We went yesterday to The Old Pharmacy. We had booked a table and ordered crab sandwiches.Well we were not disappointed. The sandwiches were delicious and the tea was proper leaf tea.The young lady that owns the business was delightful after what must have been a difficult year for her business. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely go again to support local enterprise.

Obviously a locals pub . Went in for Sunday lunch and this could have been way better . Portions sizing was not great and although the separate vegetables were hot the rest of the meal was cold . Why do people serve hot food on to cold plates . More vegetables were needed as we looked around and we got nearly the same as a table of two we were 6 adults :( stunning views outside . Like I said could have been way better £11:95 for a Sunday roast …
