The best restaurants in Carmarthenshire West Wales

We had lunch in The Coffee Shop during our stay walking the coastline, and we can thoroughly recommend eating here as the food was very tasty and well served. Polite and friendly owners/staff, who care about their food. Would definitely visit again.

Brilliant place good atmosphere

Stopped for dinner whilst in the area trying to find something to eat with friends. I didn't catch his name but the guy serving us was great, a very nice guy. The food was delicious, very good portion sizes as well, probably the best I've had. All our food was stunning 👌🏼 My only complaint was that the poor guy was absolutely rushed off his feet with walk-in/online/telephone orders and people dining in, he was non-stop. One of our rice dishes was missing when food was served and it took so long to come out we asked to leave it as we were already half way through and it still hasn't come, also some drinks orders were very slow coming out but he was flat out. If you're in the area or passing through I would absolutely recommend and would go back myself.

Long standing booking to celebrate my Birthday tomorrow.....they asked whether it was a special occasion and my sister who was booking for me said it was! Really disappointed to find out by chance tonight that they are closed until later in the month!! Why did you not have the courtesy to let us know as you had our contact details? VERY POOR SHOW.

Amazing selection of cakes and hot food with helpful staff, I managed to sit inside and there was limited seating outside. Will stop here again when I'm next in he area.

I’ve had probably the best bacon sandwich I have ever tasted in my very long life from Nannie’s kitchen when I visited the car booth sale where they were serving delicious food and drinks .

Cracking place. Locals are lovely

Have been here a few times, and the staff are always friendly and make a real effort. A nice, relaxed atmosphere and the evening open hours are ideal this time of year when the weather’s not so great and we’re looking for things to do/places to go. We always go for the waffles and milkshakes, great value for the prices. Good luck with the new shop in Swansea!

Food was good, disappointingly no fresh coffee,only instant😞 as a restaurant thought fresh coffee would be standard fare,also no alternatives to cow's milk,also no ice available for a cold drink🤔,pot of tea served with a miniscule container of milk....

Visited for the day to watch the 6 nations rugby - it was an accidental find and they were amazing. Welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We spent a lovely afternoon - food 1/2 time and good drinks and service. Thank you

There are no rooms to rent here anymore. But definitely the best café in Llandovery. Great coffee and food.

Looks like the Neuadd Arms is closed for the forseeable future as although you can book a reservation on the website, when you call the pub the answerphone tells you that the pub is closed. Just saying. Quite normal for Wales to have total lack of communication as it would have been good to know before setting off and arriving at a locked door.
