The best restaurants in Talbot Green Rhondda Cynon Taf South Wales

The whole vibe here was cool af, I’m not sure if our waiter just didn’t bother to ask how we were doing or if it was intentional like for us to enjoy our meals which we did. He didn’t bother at all which also made the whole experience really pleasant but at some points he was needed but wasn’t anywhere to be found, but the hostess was so nice and quick to find us sitting.

Came off M4 needing a coffee break. Google led me here. Fantastic coffee and Bara brith. Rest of the food on offer looked good too. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

DIDN'T ARRIVED!!!! Despite saying it's delivered!! Shocking service. Went from on it's way to arriving in 6 minutes, to 17 minutes......then vanishing into thin air. AVOID!!!!!

First time dining at Albis this afternoon and I have to say the food was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Surf and turf, 8oz steak cooked to absolute perfection and the best tiger prawns I have ever tasted!! Fantastic service, highly recommend and will definitely be returning.. Thank you Albi

First time here following a recommendation, not sure if it was because of how busy it was but the chips where undercooked, very pale and still raw. You could tell they'd been rushed to deal with the queue. Also very unusual to not take card. Will give it one more shot though so fingers crossed next time

A great restaurant in Talbot Green. My first time here but heard lots of positive comments from friends and family. Reasonably priced and staff were friendly but professional. No steps at the front to negotiate so those with mobility issues shouldn't have any problems in entering the restaurant. I had the calamari for starters and salmon for main. Both were cooked very well and both were delicious. Portions were enough and although I was full I didn't feel stuffed. I will visit here again and will have no problem in recommending this restaurant to anyone else. Thank you, I'll be back.

Very welcoming local pub, and they let us eat takeaway pizzas inside. We felt very at home!

Lovely helpful staff clean tidy warm and cosy bed up dated room . Just that the big head of the shower 🚿 didn't work fully .

Visiting family in Wales I'm from Windsor. Mt daughter treated us all at beefeater I've never been to beefeater before I enjoyed my meal and the staffwere very friendly

Flavour bland. Meat good. Bread oily sickly. Rice hard and for the price I can’t see it worth the cost. 6/10 see other reviews it’s not good guys how the hell got an award I don’t know. Compare with Simla aberkenfig Simla know how to cook.

We have just visited La Luna again for lunch. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The staff are superb, so friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely excellent. I have visited several times recently and that in itself poses a problem as I have enjoyed everything which makes it difficult to decide what to have. The lunch menu is superb and really good value for money so much so that I’ve already another two dates booked. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and the 3 hours free parking in the retail park is an added bonus. Can’t wait for my next lunch.
