Spent a couple of evenings here whilst on holiday, staff and locals were very welcoming and friendly, will revisit again.

I moved to the area a couple of months ago and it is the best pub around. Staff are great and the regulars are friendly. Place is clean Come one, come all - you won't be disappointed!

I have only recently started coming to the talbot and what a fantastic establishment. The staff are welcoming and attentive throughout your stay, with exceptional customer service. The premises is always clean and the locals are so welcoming. I can come to the pub on my own and there is always someone to chat to. Highly recommended and the best pint around.

Great pub, very friendly although very pricey but we will defy be visiting again. Dart board was fab and played pool. Locals joined in.

Had the pleasure of dj ing at The Talbot Arms this evening. They deserve more than a 5* . Superb welcome from the landlady, felt very welcome as soon as you walk in. Superb atmosphere and the venue really is good. Bar staff very friendly and polite, can't praise them enough really was a superb night

Tidy pub tbf & it looks the mums nuts now it's been given a face lift. Beer garden is top notch too.

Atmosphere was 5/10 could do with improvements by adding 🎶 to do with theme of the venue, food preparation was good 9/10 taste was as good 9/10 wine 🍷and quality was good 9/10 of course this depends on what type of wine you have. Value for money 💰 8/10 . Well done team.

Not drank in Talbot Arms for over 25 years. Took my wife to it Saturday night. Barmaid was very pleasant and welcoming. Friendly atmosphere. Good priced drinks. Enjoyed

Good pub to have a few beers in (particularly after work), good location. A place you can listen to music (defo need to update the jukebox though) and have a laugh... Like these two!!

I had a very disappointing night out here after one of the female bar tenders refused to serve me. This was simply because I asked for a double Jack Daniels and I didn't realise until after she had served it that she had put ice in it. I asked her if I could get it without ice as I didn't ask for it "on the rocks" and she said she would strain the ice out rather than pour me a fresh one. After I queried the fact that you should never assume what a customer wants and that you should ask first, she point blank refused to serve me or my friends. I was civil and polite throughout my dealings with her, I didn't swear or raise my voice, and I got refused service over her own mistake.

Great atmosphere, they do karaoke on the last Friday of every month, very good.

We have been here quite a few times for Sunday lunch. Always tasty home cooked dinner and desserts. Always plenty of gravy which make a change from.some places i have been.Well priced and good quality. Would recommend

It's ok. Runs out of some stock sometimes which does effect customer levels.
