Scrumps Traditional Fish & Chips in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Do not get food from the guy he has stis and won’t get rid of them. But the food is lovely don’t stop yourself getting food because of this comment it’s just if you are served by the young man I would recommend not to because if he hasn’t got them done then he can spread them into children and vulnerable people

Food is brilliant, The workers are very polite and easy to talk too, the really is 10/10

They are really unhelpful and especially more bad treating disabled people, I waited from long time with my disabled son and my another child, they were busy to lugged and chat with each other,they looked at me and observes my difficult situation but they gave my turn to other 3 customers who came after me,, after they free from other customers I spoke with them for the order but the two ladies on receptionist were really rude to me,they looked at my face but didn’t gave me any response and ignored me, so I left the shop and bought food from Filling Station (Talbot Greer). I will never go again to this shop

Unfortunately I couldn't spend my money at this business as it was cash only I did walk along the road looking for a cash point but nothing there I only had half hour break to take in work so didn't have time to drive to get cash out. So greggs it was after not what I wanted but it was food 😔

Decent fish and chips but fish wasn't cod and notably very small, more like a fish bite. An overwhelmingly strange tense atmosphere like I didn't belong. I'd definitely return in the hope it was just a bad day as clearly it's very popular and that must be because they are usually good. This is review is based on one visit.

They were amazing! They sponsor Llantrisant RFC and tonight at prime time on a Friday they made us 75 sausages and 25 large bags of chips. All whilst serving their regular customers. Excellent service and friendly too!

Always fresh, tasty and well priced. 3 cod, a large chips and a large curry sauce feeds our little family of 3 for under 20 quid. Great stuff. Fish cooked to order in a lovely light batter. Lemon offered with the fish. Always friendly staff. My only wish is that they would take cards. I know there's a cost involved, but in today's world I find myself using the cashpoint just to get dinner here.

Stuck down the hospital waiting for my mate and just had fresh lovely chips and a crispy Sausage and batter. Didn't come up for air and the food was lush. Will be coming back for more if I'm in the area.

My mother's favourite local chip shop. My parents loved fish and chips on a Friday from scrumps and since my father past away I've tried to keep here tradition going enjoying Friday fish and chips with her. The fish is beautiful the batter is light, large portions at a good price. Highly recommend a visit.

Food is always great here. Only issue is that they are cash only, despite RCT being in lockdown due to Covid they still hand coins back and forth between customers with no option to pay on card/contactless.

First time to try out this chippie. Had the cod and chips. No queues and friendly staff. Fish was nicely cooked with crispy batter. Plenty of chips which were also nicely cooked and fresh out the fryer. Would definitely recommend.

Scrumps is the best fish and chips for miles. Never have a bad word to say about them.. could do with a card machine though!

Very awkward wait for a bag of chips. The women were having a bit of a barney Took my chips home and they weren't cooked in the middle. :( 2 stars because I've had nice food from there before but dont think I'll go again, sorry!

Good. Very helpful to ensure they met my daugters dietry needs (severe allergies) were met. I am pleased and do was she as she barely has a take away.
