The best restaurants in Graig Newport South Wales

Went for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. Very reasonably prices £10.00 for 3 courses. Prawn cocktail for starters which was delicious. Roast beef and fresh vegetables were plentiful, and good choice of deserts. Staff are very friendly, will definitely go again

Wonderful cozy little pub with a great atmosphere and most importantly great food. The tapas menu in particular is amazing and such good quality, the service here is also very good with Harriet making us all feel very comfortable and welcome.

Walked in although they prefer bookings. A quiet night and first in for food. Prompt service Chicken Madras and Chicken burger for meals. Lovely friendly staff.

Must be new owners very tight on there curry sauce and gravy they take ages preparing food and very Expensive

We went on Christmas Day for lunch which we were really looking forward to. How wrong we were ! The starter of scallops was raw and inedible, the main course of Turkey - roast potatoes and parsnip sodden with fat and Not crispy and gravy tasted like a cheap solidified stock cube. Desert worst of all - claimed to be Pavalova consisted of 2 solid disks of meringue so hard unable to get spoon through and an ultra sweet concoction of sweet creamy filling - one mouthful was more than enough. Coffee hadn’t arrived after waiting half an hour so we left. Never again .

Called in to try one afternoon, Stood and waited to be served, no one in the shop except male member of staff who did not acknowledge myself, just carried on with whatever he was doing and ignored me ! Waited a few minutes then walked out as he clearly wasn’t interested in serving me or even acknowledging me ! Rude and steroid lack of customer service skills

Nicely decorated public house, plenty of space between tables. Couldn't fault the meal. Everything well presented, cooked to perfection and very tasty. Plenty of vegetables and jugs of gravy provided. Desserts also delicious. The staff were very busy but looked after us. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely revisit. Well done to the chef and all the staff.

My order was incomplete. I didn't get my lattè. Could I please have a refund for that item

Nice traditional cosy pub, good beer selection, friendly service, clean and nicely decorated. Particularly enjoy the live music. Food was reasonable and fresh, good value for money. But in my instance the garlic bread wasn't toasted (basically warm bread), the fries were soft and limp (under cooked), the cheese cake dessert was warm in middle (clearly defrosted in microwave). Which was a shame because for just a couple of small changes it would of been spot on

Good McDonald's. It's a shame it's gone cashless and for that reason I won't be going back

Always a good visit with lots of good buys and a lovely restaurant
