Called in to try one afternoon, Stood and waited to be served, no one in the shop except male member of staff who did not acknowledge myself, just carried on with whatever he was doing and ignored me ! Waited a few minutes then walked out as he clearly wasn’t interested in serving me or even acknowledging me ! Rude and steroid lack of customer service skills

The pasties are amazing. They have a lot of variety and it's the perfect shop for a little snack in the bassaleg area.

Aberthaw Road
Took me five years to find (it was hidden behind a wall and some houses until they were knocked down recently, and even signposted and getting directions I'm not the best at finding things), but it was well worth the wait. The service was excellent, all the staff friendly, and the food is lovely. The batter light and crisp, and best of all it's affordable. I highly recommend this little local chippy and will definitely be coming back - now I know where it is.

Unit 8, 403 Malpas Rd, Newport NP20 6WB, United KingdomLunch @ Subway Malpas Road Newport today (my local) staff are pleasant & remember how I like my Sub. My normal order would have been a Notorious BLT but as that is no longer available, I opted for a BLT (all contents tge same as Notorious BLT). Today there was a 30% off any size Sub so I opted for a 6" making it a "meal deal" with the inclusion of a medium cup drink & double chocolate brownie & ate it on the premises. I paid £5 48 today for my lunch which was very tasty as always.
