McDonald's in Newport

Food always spot on and hardly any waiting time.

Not normally one to complain but the last couple of times I've visited I've been waiting a long time for small orders. I appreciate how busy it can be however, I can constantly hear staff shouting, singing and joking about but don't seem to be pushing out orders quickly enough. Food was fine and front of house staff were friendly

After visiting this restaurant on a few occasions I am convinced it is consistently the best McDonald's I have been too. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh and hot. I feel lucky to have this as a local.

Newly done out. Order was correct. Food was hot. Can’t complain.

What a joke! Went to the McDonald’s drive-thru at 4:30 and ordered through the app. Waited 20 minutes, only to get home and realise the order was wrong. Had to go all the way back, and while they did fix it, there was no real apology. Absolutely disgusting service!

Delivery was delivered elsewhere so never received it so delivery driver obviously didn’t ask for the code given with your online order.

Collection order delivered driver or Mac Donald’s didn’t check the order numbers

ordered at 17.30 arrived almost 19.00hours

Absolute joke most of the time ,the food is thrown together n practically thrown at you wile everybody stands around doing nothing

Everytime we order from here, there is food missing from our order. no fries with meals including the happy meal, no sauces with meals even though they are selected, no straws with drinks.....how on he'll u suppose to drink a milkshake without a straw! this place is becoming a joke... this is the third time in a row that they have messed our simple order up. SORT IT OUT! I will be making a official complaint to the manager of that store in person.

Missing milk and sugar for the tea, the coffee was look warm, no jam with the muffin which was cut badly and overcooked and the hash browns greasy and stuck to the paper

Ordered via the app on the 18/01/25 a meal for myself and my partner, I ordered a veggie spicy wrap and it came with chicken inside instead, nothing particularly seems alerting to the manager when my partner phoned up and told them and all they did was apologies, but that doesn’t stop the fact I’ve just accidently eaten chicken after 10 years of being vegetarian. I’m incredibly disheartened, upset and shocked this has happened and there’s very minimal ways to contact anyone about alerting head office about this.

Large Coke had a little bit left in the cup because it was dripping and leaking everywhere all over the floor inside my porch, told courier who totally ignored myself, not happy with this service.

Went to get some food tonight and the entire team working was so lovely! The gentleman who took our order made us laugh so much and had a young girl with tattoos and brown hair give us our food, there was a tiny delay but she let us know and kept us updated and offered us free desserts! She was so attentive and wonderful. Unfortunately didn’t catch their names but hope this feedback gets back to them. They were amazing!

half of the order was missing absolutely shocking that someone cant read an order sheet and get it right!

Festive Mcflurry? 20 stars on the top with not even a spoonful off caramel 2.29 a joke supposed to be throughout the mcflurry not just on top. You can claim points because there's always a problem and as for customer service sort it out there is none.

Food ordered at 6.30 with expected 20-35 minute delivery time this time moved food delivered at 7.45 and is all freezing cold and not edible

The lady came with two hot chocolates instead of my milkshake! It doesn’t take long to make a milkshake and get my order right ! the lady was nice about it though and apologised

Yet again,this company just gets worse and worse!! (Just eat!!) food can completely soaked in the drink,the driver said do you want me to put it in the bin,I replied yes I’ll contact just eat. Yet again,my refund was denied!!! You rip people off and get away with it time and time again!! Shocking company

We love a McDonalds so we were excited that our local was back open but it ended up being very disappointing. Having gone in & ordered on the screens, we came away with someone’s UberEats order?! I’m kicking myself for not checking the bag properly when we were there as we only realised when we got home! So apologies if you’d ordered a mccrispy, chicken sandwich & 40 nuggets this evening! From looking at other reviews in here & Facebook, it seems this is quite common at this branch. The iPhone app is also not working (a nationwide problem) the woman was really helpful & kind about it so that was a positive.

Fries were cold on delivery. I had to request a partial refund due to sauces being left from order. Straws x5 were not included. All in all a very dissatisfying service and considering it has just had a refurb it also looks like the time closed for the refurb they didn’t undertake any training of staff which evidently their staff do need some further training.

I usually use the drive thru here and get a good service. I used delivery for the first time today won't be using it again. It took nearly an hour to get here, the food was cold and I got nuggets instead of cheese bites. Wish I drove there myself now.

There are constant mistakes from either McDonalds or delivery drivers. Either food missing, drinks spilled or given the wrong order. Better to just go get it yourself.

The latte was spilt in the bag over the food and when they re-delivered the latte it was the wrong size and the wrong drink

Make sure you double check your orders if you go to drive through occasions where orders have been paid for but food is not in the bag. Again today ordered a triple cheeseburger and paid for one but got a double cheeseburger, noticed when I got home, need to stop trusting they will honor what u pay for, surely they should employ people who can read and give the correct order, it's annoying. Changed my rating from 2 to 1 not good enough service tbh.

Unfortunately the food was cold. We had to reheat in the microwave, which I don’t like doing with regards to cooked meats.
