They forgot my chips! When I rang I could get more in 20 minutes when my kebab would be cold and not a replacement kebab. A shame, j used to like Efes :(

I've been getting late night kebabs for years, but tonight they'd put the price up to a tenner for a small chicken shish. This is Newport, not London. They won't see me again.

Ordered food, said was collected, waited another half hour, food wasn't even delivered! If you ain't gonna send the food then at least state so i can order from elsewhere! Won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered food from here on the 30/5/2023, and I wouldn't again!!! I'll be completely honest, the food is nice from here! However, When I last ordered, they got it wrong! When I placed my order, I asked for the sauce to be separate and potted!! As my wife dose not like spice! But when it came, which the delivery was quick! But the sauce was all over the food!! When I rang them! They were not helpful at all!! Basically said they couldn't do anything about it!! My wife is a nurse and had a bad day in work! And when I rang to place my order I explained this and asked for recommendations! And they got it wrong! And then would not help or send me replacement meal!!! I was livid!!! I have ordered from here a few times, and like I said they're food is nice!!! But this was they're mistake and yet he didn't care or want to help and just kept saying" I'm sorry my friend I'm sorry friend!! I will never order from here again!!!

Can't really rate "atmosphere" as its not an eat-in kind of place, but they are friendly enough when I've been in and picked up. App/website is easy enough and order arrived when timer had me expecting it 20 minutes later. So that was handy.

After reading all the negative reviews myself and a colleague debated about ordering food from here I am so glad we did quick delivery amazing food and it was hot I for sure will be ordering my food on nights from here again well impressed

Very poor quality food, it’s really an insult to the local community to serve such disgusting food. You could do so much better, it’s not just about serving the cheapest ingredients you can find.

Food was not up to standard Was charged £10.90 for 4 pieces of chicken (shesh kebab) also had chicken nuggets and chips and they were really greasey also my partner shaun is about to go to work who had the shesh kebab and also had asked if they could do fried onions as my partner is allergic to raw onions and was refused not happy want something to be done about it

Don't actually give you what you pay for, just wrap it up and send you out . Very disappointed with service and the food. Never again

Very poor , delivery driver had a white cat in the car and was smoking. Pizza toppings were in the corner of the box. Phoned up to complain and they put the phone down on us. Quite sad really as my last meal there was very good. If I could leave a zero rating I would

My evening began in the halls of Fever. After an enchanting evening of Katy Perry and Ollie Mure’s greatest hits, I strolled back down the high street to find Efes. The exceptionally friendly staff recommended the chicken box, which I was excited to get stuck in to. The chicken was succulent and the chips were crispy. This delicious meal was accompanied by a garlic sauce like no other. I would highly recommend this restaurant, both for a trip with friends or even a solo venture, there are always friends to be made here.

Our food was never delivered no refund was given. When we called the restaurant to find out where our food was we were met with extremely rude staff. Avoid this place.

If you’ve had to much to drinks and need sobering up them this is your places, do not eat here if your sober!! Also if you are drunk please be aware they they sometime try charge you extra and take advantage

Ordered a 12 inch plain cheese pizza and large chips which cost £15.55. I had a message saying my food is on its way 45 minutes after I ordered. An hour later my food finally come. The pizza was cold and hard and there was about 4 chips in the pizza box with it. Never again will I waste my money on the terrible restaurant

Wanted vegetarian, no falafel or halloumi, their attempt at non meaty was the side salad in pitta..lol it's 2021, will be looking elsewhere....

The food was half an hour late. Chips were very starchy and the hot & spicy pizza was a plain cheese pizza. Will not order from them again and would make a point of discouraging anyone else from doing so.

Asked if I could collect at 12.30 am only to get a call at 11.30pm saying its ready to pick up?! Food was greasy and chips were cold. Not the best. Most of my work colleagues threw the majority of their food away. I should have gone to Top Taste kebabs, far better and friendlier.

Thanks to lockdown relying on Just Eat - 1st time really nice, polite delivery driver, order correct and delivered on time (if not slightly early against the ETA on the app) - So I thought it's a no-brainer, I'm back so I'll use them again. - Ordered at 1810 and advised by text on way at 1837 ... ETA 1855 waited in the rain outside until 1910 before ringing the shop - concerned for delivery driver - not the best exchange, promised delivery inside 3 minutes. I was going out with a colleague by cab at 1920 but waited until then expecting to take food with me - still no delivery - rang back and shop were not happy. Discovered they'd marked the app as delivered on time (1855) that was 25 mins before ! - They obviously have an attitude attached to a weather vane and change with the wind - simply not good enough. - 2 stars because the first dealings were 4 star service (cold chips but I expected that) ... this time I'm left hungry and out of pocket - Just Eat eventually repaid me.

Efes grill has been a significant takeaway in the heart of Newport for over 10 years. Goes im to buy a burger meal Was told it was £5.80 as a meal with drink included by the owner collegue, as soon as the owner come in the shop he carried on serving me to be told I had to pay £6.50 . This is false advertisements and I will be calling trading standards, I no its only 70p extra but imagine how many more customer's he does this too.

Best chicken burger 🍔 and chips🍟 very tasty

Ordered a donner meat and chips. There was a sprinkle of meet on top of the chips £8 for basically a portion of chips and sauce. When ring to ask where the rest of the meat was got hurdled abuse at by the owner.... waste of money and poor customer service.

Ordered food (burger with pineapple, going for a Carribbean vibe!) tried to overcharge but I politely explained they would need to adjust the prices quoted on their menu. Then charged me correct price. As with most restaurant pictures I appreciate that what's portrayed may be different to what you receive. But this was totally contradictory. No salad ( I say salad as the photo had lettuce) no relish, no cheese. I assumed these came with the burger and the extra was the pineapple. Nope. Actual burger received was a grilled bun, just about grilled burger and grilled pineapple ring. Fantastic. Plenty of other late night eateries in Newport, I'll try somewhere else next time.

Food is always cooked perfectly and exactly to your specification. Always arrives hot and very quickly. Staff are very friendly and always clean and presentable. Highly recommend.

Worst place. Nasty food. Con people who takes advantage of drunk people by selling them nasty food. I asked for a tandoori pizza, they served me a pizza with chicken kebab on it. When I questioned them, They said “we don’t have tabdoori” and expected me to have that. I had to return it. They charged me £8.00. Refund wasn’t given. Instead they offered me chicken kebab which was worth £5.00. Intimidating staff. Avoid this place

I’ve used Effes grill for last few years always had a lovely kebab, but tonite oh my god, it was dreadful not what I ordered .where before pitta on base the mixed shish on bottom with salad over top. But tonite meat was so chewy about 7 small pieces on one side of container then salad in other side . This was a large mixed shish......£7.70 Was really looking forward to eating it. Now I’m still hungry

If you like heart clogging saturated fats then this is the place for you. Cheap quality food...... just plain nasty. Rude staff who think they're superior to you. Avoid like the plague.

Will over charge as soon as they can. Especially if they think that you've had a drink and they can get away with it. Devise and immoral.

Came here straight after visiting a near establishment. Very quick service, friendly staff, food was excellent quality am definitely recommending to friend and family. I recommend the cheese burger it was big enough to satisfy my appetite , cooked to perfection, no faults with the service what so ever, easily the best fast food restaurant in Newport Town center. 5 stars all the way.

Absolutely awful took 2 and a half hours to deliver my food and when it came is wasn’t even the right stuff I ordered chicken sheesh and it came with chips dripping in sauce and the Donner was dry as hell disgusting never ordering food from here again

The Efes Grill is strategically located next to almost all the places where you can have a decent night out in Newport and therefore it'll be a popular place especially during late nights. The selection of fast food items offered is good and the location was recently refurbished. To add, the staff is friendly and they even put some clubbing music sometimes for those who want to eat inside and want to have the same party atmosphere.

Absolutely awful would not order from here- spent £12 on 2 kebabs and it was not worth a fraction of that ...my lamb shish was stone cold when it was delivered and "salad" comprised of a whole tray of raw onions with 2 bits if cucumber & a bit of red cabbage- the meat was as tough as tough can be and took ages to chew and was undigestable-absolutely awful and would never use this place again!!What a waste of money!!!

Very unhappy with our delivery.... was told it would be about half hour, order food about 12.30am nothing still at 1.30am. Called to be told the delivery guy has been but no answer. This was a lie as we were here waiting. By the time they came back food was ruined! Won't be ordering from them again.!
