The best restaurants in Grangetown Cardiff South Wales

Starters were lovely but the main wasn't pleasant. It wasn't made clear to us when ordering that the broth was creamy, as we don't like creamy food. I thought it would be more of a clear broth. The bowls and drinking stein mugs were chipped. I explained at the end that we were dissatisfied with our food and they did offer another meal which we didn't want as we were put off with the previous dish, no discount was offered until I asked in which they took £20 off the bill.

This restaurant has amazing food, nice staff, quick service, and a very comfortable atmosphere.... I recommend it and wish to see them again...

Escondido a solo 5-10 minutos a pie del concurrido centro, The Vegetarian Food Studio es una verdadera joya escondida. Es claramente amado por los lugareños, ya que ya estaba bastante ocupado a las 12 de la noche cuando llegamos, a pesar de que acababan de abrir. Fuimos por una mezcla de entrantes para compartir, incluyendo el plato mixto para dos (que era ideal) y unos pocos bits extra. Todo estaba perfectamente especiado y lleno de sabor. El chutney de tamarindo que venía con los platos era particularmente delicioso — un punto culminante absoluto! Los precios eran muy razonables, y la comida era excepcional. Sin duda volveremos a visitar!

Placed a order for pickup. The culchas I ordered were not culchas as they ended up looking like naan with sesame seeds on them. They were burnt so I called the business number and was asked to take the order back. The guy there was so rude and other staff there didn't care. They didn't!! refund me and didn't!! even offer a replacement. They're in possession of the order and I'm out of pocket for something we didn't have not to mention my wasted time and fuel for the two trips I made because of this one order. The previous owners were much better as the new owners have run the place down. The hygiene standards are questionable too. If you're looking for a good experience with good food, this is NOT!!! the place.

Love this place, always come here when I'm in Cardiff. Their grilled tilapia and plantain is amazing and well worth the money. The service is good and staff are attentive and friendly.

On the day we visited, it was quite busy. The positives are that the staff are always friendly, but there aren't enough of them to clear tables and remain on top of cleaning. The food is over priced. We met for a meeting, but the music played was too loud, along with ambient noise, the meeting was abandoned.

Absolutely amazing! The food is nice I recommend the chicken fried rice as a fried rice lover also service is quite good and the staff are nice also reasonable priced! I 100% recommend if you wanna have nice Chinese food

The food was what you'd expect from burger king. I loved my whopper. But the place wasn't that clean and there didn't seem to be enough staff. However we asked for extra pickle and they delivered.

Always great coffee with friendly staff.

Bought some kebabs, when I got home I found a string of hair inside the kebabs, also some lamb chops were not cooked properly. I also found out this business was shut down by local authorities before for food safety violations and the owner got convicted for it. I do not recommend this place. One word; AVOID.
