Costa Coffee in Cardiff

Waited at ford for a service and MOT . So decided to walk here and wait. I asked the staff if I was OK to wait as it would be a few hours. They were fine and said take a seat and not to worry. I had a lovely few hot chocolates and a toasted sandwich. Really cosy little shop and really friendly staff ☺️

Click and collect is a fantastic way to get your order if you are in a rush. It's normally waiting for you to pick up by the time you arrive. Service spot on and staff are very friendly.

We did not eat here as we were looking for the vegan biscoff cheesecake, but they did not have any. The staff were friendly when we were eventually acknowledged. The store was generally unkempt. Dust balls on shelves that display food stuffs. Just felt unclean. But does have a drive through.

Toastie and a mocha £5.99, perfect.

Couldn't get a seat not because it was packed but because there were 3 pairs of customers taking up 12 seats. Ignorant but why aren't the staff dealing with it. They're losing trade.

The nicest thing was the people who served me. The Maple Hazel doesn't taste of Maple or Hazel. Was so disgusting I had to throw half of it way. £4.50 for a medium coffee! Never going again after that.

It early evening so there weren’t many other customers so can’t say what atmosphere was like. Coffee was A+

Poor experience there yesterday. Stood at the counter for 5 min. Server chatting to friends that had just come in all that time. She then told me she would not serve me because I had a dog. Told to around to the car lane to get served. Not particularly health and safety. Unlike Pret they allow dog owners to order then sit outside.

Very clean and it's great to see the tables cleared promptly.

Popped in for large latte and bacon roll. Coffee was more like hot milk coffee was pathetically weak.

Lovely new Costa that recently opened. Typical setup with everything you would expect from a Costa. It’s slightly smaller than the average store, but still more than half a dozen tables available with some power points available near the windows seats. This is useful when working on the move. Staff are nice and friendly with loads to places to park and it’s also a drive thru.

We went quite late and it was open. A much needed warm drink whilst the kids were at their club. The bonus is that the retail parks around were all closed so we parked nearby and drank in the car, whilst watching the world go by

Staff were very friendly, new store not long been open, drive thru service was very fast and food availability was good. Worth a visit!
