The best restaurants in Cardiff South Wales

I had a fantastic pizza experience at Calabrisella few months back. The staff was incredibly helpful in recommending pizzas, and I ended up trying their Campagnola. It was delicious and I highly recommend it! The Campagnola is a vegetarian pizza loaded with fresh summer flavors. The combination of flavors and textures was fantastic - the sweetness of the roasted vegetables balanced perfectly with the savory tomato sauce and gooey cheese. The man at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable, and his recommendation was spot on. I'll definitely be back to try more pizzas soon!

Attended a private party but other members of the public were able to walk in and completely too over the party. Security were there but did nothing. Wouldn't recommend

Prompt service and fresh food. Order 2x kids meals and 1 large box and 1 medium box. The Udon noodles with prawns and chilli paneer were sublime! The vegetables were lacking some imagination (onions, red & green peppers) but otherwise tasty. Kids enjoyed their meals and partner said the medium box was too much.

The food is awesome . I went for lunch and then for dinner . Rezan was very very good polite friendly although the restaurant was busy he was always there to help . He was very welcome remembered us so well a big Thankyou Rezan for making us feel at home your hospitality was outstanding and fabulous keep up the good work we will definitely visit you again with our daughters . You can no longer bring your own wine or beer which used to be possible. No alcoholic beverages are allowed now, a change of policy which acts as a bit of a disincentive. But the food is very fresh and very nice.

The cafe had a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was very tasty and I think I had the best hummus in my entire life! The ladies were lovely and explained a bit about the special teas available at the cafe. Will definitely return soon! 😊🍽

A great pub with friendly staff and locals. Make a point of going when they have a live band on for a fun evening.

The quality of the coffee became better and they serve V60 now. Guys in the shop are really good. The only issue there is the shop is always smells like something moldy or musty. This makes the place not nice.

I have always had the best meal here. But I don’t understand what happened today😭😭 the bitterleaf soup I ordered today was so watery!!

We had an early dinner here after reading the reviews which seemed very positive. I also had a few email exchanges as I prefer carbonara done the "original" way without cream. However my hopes were dashed when we got there as they were very busy and as such were not prepared to cater for any customisations which was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, we made our orders and generally it was ok. I don't think I was wow-ed unfortunately - maybe because I had high expectations based on my previous communication. On the plus side, despite the busy service, the serving staff were still attentive. They were especially great at catering to the kids' requests too. Not sure we'd be back if we are in Cardiff again, but I am quite particular 😂 having been spoilt with excellent Italian food before. However, for those of you who want good service and decent food, then go for it. It's probably also a good place for kids as they have a kids menu.

A favourite spot for a quality beer and excellent food. Consistently excellent every visit highly recommended.
