The best restaurants in Cardiff South Wales

Food is nice but gone quite expensive, ive been going there for years. I know mama has always been lovely, but one of the ladies serving me, not very patient, must be having an off day, considering I spent £14

We booked here after seeing the excellent reviews on Google and were not disappointed. The food and service was amazing particularly the Moroccan food! Moroccan tea was served to us on the house as we chose our meals and was also delicious! Don’t be put off from the decor as this is a special little gem and we will definitely be returning!

Lovely little cafe with specialty coffee and hearty food. Very good flat white. The latte art is so beautiful that I hesitated to drink. Balanced with mellow sweetness and toasty nuttiness and a hint of fruitiness. NY Bagel with pastrami :D stuffed with black peppery pastrami slices and melty cheese. Decent bagel in Wales!! Made my day early in the morning already. Cinnamon bites look cute :> The music is chill.

Nice relaxed, quiet venue but quite expensive for small portions given. Ok for coffee+ cake or Panini with mate but be prepared for price.

I have tried Chopstix in many different places. But this branch (Queens St Cardiff city centre) has the best chef (Rafsan) by a miles.

wow wow wow. I booked pasture for my boyfriend’s birthday months in advance as we’ve always wanted to visit and the wait has been 1000% worth it. From the second we arrived, our waiter Joel was outstanding. He gave incredible recommendations (and we tried every one!!) and was super friendly and easy to talk to. He clearly knew the menu very well and was able to book us into the speak easy downstairs after our meal which made our night! As well as the service, the food was outstanding! I would definitely recommend the croquettes and pork belly starter! Will definitely visit again soon!!

Their Turkish traditional breakfast is outstanding - I highly recommend it

Thank you so much for the service, staff was very talkative and friendly really made us feel like we were at home, great experience. Food was very tasty last time I tried a pizza this good was in Napoli. Definitely will recommend it to my friends and will surely be back.

Landlord and landlady were as helpful as anything. Nothing was to much trouble. Excellent night's of music for all, especially Ska. I recommend to everyone.

WOW... Haven't eaten this quality of Eastern food in a W H I L E. AMAZING QUALITY, AMAZING service, the restaurant could use a bit of elbow grease but it's very cosy and nostalgic. I'm coming back to this place. Wonderful portions...

Exceptional place. Most underrated place in Cardiff. A true hidden gem. You absolutely cannot miss this place. Went yestdsy with a couple of friends. Everything was fantastic, authentic and hands down the best "eating out meal" I've had. This one is a true Glory. You cannot miss it. If exceptional food, good value is what you are after, go ahead and give Wings of Glory a go.
