Welshcakes weren’t my favourite thing until I came here. These are so good. The traditional raisin ones as well as the other flavours. Having them freshly baked and warm was outstanding. I could’ve eaten 500!

I love Welsh cakes but this was a very underwhelming experience, to say the least. I bought a pack of assorted flavours (traditional, hazelnut and chocolate chip). At first bite, the cake just crumbled in my hand, there was little of the filling (just one or two raisins/chocolate chips/hazelnut), no heavenly buttery taste you get from other Welsh cakes bought from other stores (for example, Marks and Spencers).

Popped in twice today, the welshcakes were so delicious we ate them and just had to go back for more! The lady working in there was really friendly too!

There is nothing better than turning up and being able to eat warm welshcakes right off the rack. So many different flavours too.

Wonderful staff. Freshly made. Eating hot I’m in heaven. The smell of gray baked welsh cakes. Mmmm. They have original flavor. The raspberry and almond one is to die for so good. I wish I could order in mail every month.

I was very excited to visit this place as I had seen this shop featured in many videos on YouTube !! But ,it didn't meet the expectations. The shop was nice / tidy. Nice presentations / displays also ! The moment I stepped in ,I realized the wonderful sweet aromas in the air !! It was delightful !I was very happy to find Bara brith ,too ! I bought that & a couple of Welshcakes .The Bara brith was too moistened ,mushy texture in a mouth & it got stuck on my teeth & tongue. I prefer a little drier than that .It wasn't very good ,I couldn't finish it !Pettigrew tea room had a real nice one !! So did the Fuchsia Cafe in Tenby !! But,this was a let down !! The Welshcakes were good ,but not the best I had ,either !! They were a bit TOO SWEET !! I don't wanna say it was all just a hype ! But, Rogue welshcake in Newport was the best !! I sadly couldn't make it to Bake stone . Also M & S makes real yummy Welshcakes, too !! I still recommend this store for the experience ! But, not if you had welshcakes from other shops that I mentioned !! The pre packed ones are wonderful for gifts ,too. But,they break & crumble easily !! So ,not recommend for a long trip !!

I’ve wanted to try Fabulous Welshcakes ever since I stumbled across them on Instagram and on Saturday I finally got to try their Welsh cakes on a trip to Cardiff! Wow whee… it didn’t disappoint. I had a mix bag of all three flavours available on the day and thoroughly enjoyed them all! They are all freshly made and served warm. Can’t wait to go back!

We followed our noses to this place. Bought a couple of cakes and they were so good that we ended up going back less than an hour later. They are that good. The staff there is lovely. Treat yourself to a couple of cakes, and I promise you won’t regret it.

Truly delicious freshly griddled Welsh cakes. Can’t go to Cardiff without dropping in here ! Although we’re sure they’ve got a little smaller ? Still worth every penny & cash free . Perfect sense when handling food !

What a find!!! I was looking for genuine welshcakes and this shop had them in abundance. Lovely family run business, mail order too. Cakes are delicious and definitely on our must go to places now

Fantastic welshcakes here, as the name suggests! Fresh off the griddle, warm, absolutely delicious there was a few kinds to choose from - traditional, white chocolate and hazelnut. Tried them all of course. I think 50p each or £5 for 10. Great service, lovely corner venue. Don’t miss it.

Went here whilst visiting Cardiff with my boyfriend. They had a great selection of welshcakes from traditional to double chocolate. They are all done fresh as you can see them make them . They were absolutely delicious.

We went for the Welsh cakes as we had read how amazing they were. My husband had the fresh Welsh cakes and he loved them. I had the vegan and gluten free Welsh cakes and they were amazing. I was so delighted to be able to have a Welsh cake thank you so much for doing gluten free and vegan Welsh cakes, as someone that suffers with allergies it was amazing to be able to enjoy such a treat and it made my trip to Cardiff.

Have never had a disappointing welshcake from here, ever! They are always brilliant and I always choose here, they staff are lovely - I can say no more! The same applies to the Cardiff Bay branch too.

Me and my partner popped in looking for vegan welsh cakes. The service was really friendly! Sadly they don’t do fresh vegan welsh cakes (because of contamination) but they do packets of vegan ones. We had the lemon ones and they were really tasty. The fresh ones smelt amazing too so will be back when not a vegan!

We dropped into Fabulous Welshcakes on the recommendation of the staff at our hotel. Fantastic choice. They are cooked onsite and our Welshcakes were warm and absolutely delicious! Don’t visit Wales without trying Welshcakes and these are absolutely the best.

This small business is definitely worth a stop for anyone visiting Wales for the first time. The small Welshcakes are made fresh before your eyes in an assortment of flavors. My favorite was the orange and chocolate one. Soooooo good!

We accidentally found this place and that was ours first Welshcakes ever therefore we have not other experience. However, they were delicious. Raisin and chocolate meet our expectations (we are not huge cinnamon ones fan). We strongly recommend it.

Best Welsh cakes EVER! Fantastic location opposite the castle, which I regularly visit. These are the best Welsh cakes in the world! The lovely ladies that served us were very friendly! A place not to be missed! I’ll be back!

These little pieces of heaven were amazingly delicious and the aroma from the freshly made ones was so delightful. Besides the traditional (cinnamon and sultanas), my favourite was the white chocolate and vanilla.

They do a range of delicious welsh cakes including ones like vanilla and white chocolate or lemon, blueberry. They even do gluten free welsh cakes which I was delighted about and they are so SO delicious !!! Yaaay!
