Best coffee in Cardiff just wish the atmosphere was nicer. Inside is small, outside you have the ugly view of St Marys Street and the Warhammer shop lol. Still 5* because the coffee is miles miles miles better than literally anywhere else in Cardiff. Very big avocado toast portion too 😋

These guys know how to produce great coffee! The lunch matched the quality of the coffee and the setting! A quality unique place situated in the city centre!

Really lovely little spot, especially on a rainy day! The matcha and pumpkin spice latte—with the housemade syrup!—were delicious, and brioche baps—halloumi and bacon alike—were top notch. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere, and the cakes on the counter looked so tasty.

Lovely little coffee shop serving a great breakfast. Service was quick, well presented and tasty! Most of the seating is outdoors but some is covered, would suggest wrapping up warm, particularly in the cooler months!

lovely coffee shop with a good selection of beans, nice coffee and pastries. Took the v60 filter coffee and it was well prepared and balanced. I also took the pistachio and rose cake, it was tasty as well. The people working there are friendly, which created a nice atmosphere. There was a short queue but they are fast at service, seating could be limited at certain times.

Great coffee, have yet to find a time where there isn't a long queue though!

Coffee represented differently each time. Bought cold brew and first time it was presented beautifully separate cup, jug and ice and a little note where the coffee is from. Today we got it all combined no presentation but the same price.

Excellent coffee shop with friendly and knowledgable baristas. The location is cracking as well, sitting just off Cardiff city centre’s main street in one of the beautiful arcades. A relaxing oasis from the bustle at any time of day. They also do a good cake and food menu.

This review is mainly for your Porthcawl branch of Corner Coffee. We rate this place very nightly for its location and high quality of food BUT we needed to contact re lost item and found no telephone number. Highly frustrating and seemingly this trend of non communication after you have visited certain businesses is becoming commonplace. Valued customer service is being eroded sadly whereby trying to get human contact is quite a task. Corner Coffee please buck the trend and become more human friendly.

What a FIND! Superb coffee, fabulous scrabbled eggs on sourdough.. Seriously amazing value... On the corner up a slightly hidden alley on castle quarter, I can't work out why people aren't queuing out the door. Service is really lovely and they're very friendly and nice! Great job ❣️ Oooh and they do filled croissants 😁

The Kenyan coffee was fantastic, obviously they put a lot of care into it. Had a vegan breakfast and it was just as good. So impressed and they are incredibly friendly too. Will be my first stop when back in Cardiff.

The food is amazing! We tried their vegan breakfast and salad of the week. They have a lot of vegan options which was great to see. On top of it, the service was great. The barista and the staff were so welcoming and accomodating. If you’re visiting Cardiff, definitely worth your time on your trip! It was one of the highlights of ours.

Beautiful cafe on the way to Cardiff Castle - the portions of cakes and puddings are super delicious, with vegetarian and vegan options. I highly recommend the carrot cake, spectacular. The girls who served us were extremely friendly and attentive.

Whenever I visit Cardiff this is always my first place to stop. Excellent coffee, food and service. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too (even at the busiest times).

Staff were friendly and welcoming but the coffee was just okay - nothing special . The waiting time for food was 30-40 minutes which for just a bowl of soup is pretty excessive

I was in Cardiff for a couple of days and this place was on my list even before arriving and I loved it; it’s a very cool and chill place with good music, staff are nice & I tried the most amazing bath brew, the breakfast items I tried were good but nothing special tbh, and the pastries not so worth it to me. But still I know if I was a local this would be my favourite place only for the coffee and the vibe in general. :)

Been dozens of times. Consistently really good coffee (which is how I primarily measure a place). Don't recall ever being served a dud one! Staff are friendly. Breakfasts look tasty. If main cafe is busy ask to be directed to their second shop 30 seconds walk away.

Been here before and it was lovely, this time I asked if they did child’s breakfasts only to be greeted with scowl and flat ‘no’. They don’t serve kids, fine, but why did the staff member need to be so rude about it? Poor service. Don’t take your kids here. Went to the indoor market and had an amazing breakfast for half the price.

Really nice little cafe. We went because they had some vegan items on the menu. We both had the "Vegan Brekkie", which included sourdough toast, baked beans, garlicky spinach, mashed avocado, bacon and sausages. Everything was delicious, but my least favourite thing was unfortunately the sausages. The texture was good, but they were a bit bland, no real flavour to them which was a shame. The rest was very tasty though. Service was really lovely and it was very cosy and comfy inside. We also got some pastries to take away too, which were very good. The raspberry croissant was the best! There were quite a few vegan pastries available, which we were so happy to see. Definitely recommend going here, and we would definitely go back.

Superb americano. Having had a spy on TA this place looked very good so we made the effort to find it. My wife and I both had an americano as I think it’s the benchmark to compare from. The service was slick and the coffee was delicious. We shared a flapjack from the nice selection of baked. Highly recommended

Good choice for V60 coffee, but it was a bit cold

My wife and I had a couple of delicious breakfast baps and we were full for the rest of the day. The coffee was great too, definitely needed it on such a cold day. I loved that they provide blankets if sitting out in the arcade.

Another visit and another great coffee! The food selection is growing, with a small menu and some fresh pastries which are spot on. The coffee and barista skills are the star of the show though. Perfectly made, well poured and for once served at a great drinking temperature. Thanks again

My wife & I had a day out in Cardiff. Wanted a decent coffee and this place came out with good reviews so we opted to visit. Wasn't disappointed. Great atmos, with a very chilled vibe. Coffee was superb. We both had two different black Americanos, one house coffee the other was a deliciously fruity guest blend. We also had the dark chocolate brownie and the apple crumble blondie, both cakes tasty and good portioned. We run a mobile coffee van in Devon so being a barista and my wife doing the baking we are always on the lookout for decent coffee outlets and decent cakes. This place is brilliant and we highly recommend 👍 We will return for sure if we visit Cardiff again which we most certainly will do.

Work husband has introduced me to this amazing place and it got me feeling light, less bitter, slightly fruit similar to candied apple like a light roasted Costa Rica Don Mayo Anaerobic. Just great coffee and amazing location.
