Whenever I visit Cardiff this is always my first place to stop. Excellent coffee, food and service. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too (even at the busiest times).

Staff were friendly and welcoming but the coffee was just okay - nothing special . The waiting time for food was 30-40 minutes which for just a bowl of soup is pretty excessive

I was in Cardiff for a couple of days and this place was on my list even before arriving and I loved it; it’s a very cool and chill place with good music, staff are nice & I tried the most amazing bath brew, the breakfast items I tried were good but nothing special tbh, and the pastries not so worth it to me. But still I know if I was a local this would be my favourite place only for the coffee and the vibe in general. :)

Been dozens of times. Consistently really good coffee (which is how I primarily measure a place). Don't recall ever being served a dud one! Staff are friendly. Breakfasts look tasty. If main cafe is busy ask to be directed to their second shop 30 seconds walk away.

Excellent food and quality choices for a brunch. Not too many seats inside very close to the desk.

Been here before and it was lovely, this time I asked if they did child’s breakfasts only to be greeted with scowl and flat ‘no’. They don’t serve kids, fine, but why did the staff member need to be so rude about it? Poor service. Don’t take your kids here. Went to the indoor market and had an amazing breakfast for half the price.

Really nice little cafe. We went because they had some vegan items on the menu. We both had the "Vegan Brekkie", which included sourdough toast, baked beans, garlicky spinach, mashed avocado, bacon and sausages. Everything was delicious, but my least favourite thing was unfortunately the sausages. The texture was good, but they were a bit bland, no real flavour to them which was a shame. The rest was very tasty though. Service was really lovely and it was very cosy and comfy inside. We also got some pastries to take away too, which were very good. The raspberry croissant was the best! There were quite a few vegan pastries available, which we were so happy to see. Definitely recommend going here, and we would definitely go back.

Nice coffee shop deserves going many times. Ethiopia with ice taste extremely good. The elder flower note is very distinct.

Superb americano. Having had a spy on TA this place looked very good so we made the effort to find it. My wife and I both had an americano as I think it’s the benchmark to compare from. The service was slick and the coffee was delicious. We shared a flapjack from the nice selection of baked. Highly recommended

Another visit and another great coffee! The food selection is growing, with a small menu and some fresh pastries which are spot on. The coffee and barista skills are the star of the show though. Perfectly made, well poured and for once served at a great drinking temperature. Thanks again

My wife and I had a couple of delicious breakfast baps and we were full for the rest of the day. The coffee was great too, definitely needed it on such a cold day. I loved that they provide blankets if sitting out in the arcade.

My wife & I had a day out in Cardiff. Wanted a decent coffee and this place came out with good reviews so we opted to visit. Wasn't disappointed. Great atmos, with a very chilled vibe. Coffee was superb. We both had two different black Americanos, one house coffee the other was a deliciously fruity guest blend. We also had the dark chocolate brownie and the apple crumble blondie, both cakes tasty and good portioned. We run a mobile coffee van in Devon so being a barista and my wife doing the baking we are always on the lookout for decent coffee outlets and decent cakes. This place is brilliant and we highly recommend 👍 We will return for sure if we visit Cardiff again which we most certainly will do.

Work husband has introduced me to this amazing place and it got me feeling light, less bitter, slightly fruit similar to candied apple like a light roasted Costa Rica Don Mayo Anaerobic. Just great coffee and amazing location.

Lovely service, great coffee, fantastic salad - the ‘salad of the day’ came with roasted cashews, sun dried tomatoes, sweet potato and roasted broccoli, so much flavour and plenty of ingredients very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

This place was an absolute oasis during a shopping trip with the wife. We didn't have any food (even though the cakes were very tempting) but the coffee was really good. We sat outside and soaked up a bit of city life, and did a bit of people watching before continuing on our way. Great little cafe, will definitely visit again.

Best coffee with in Cardiff, one of the main reasons I ever visit

Not only was the chap who served me extremely gorgeous, but he was also very friendly, positive and confident in a way that brightened up my day. The food was superb and the iced coffee, which I gave struggled to find a good one, was very nice indeed. I will definitely recommend it and revisit when I can.

Best speciality coffee in Cardiff

Had other visits, the best place to buy your coffee beans as they have a range of coffee beans from different roasters. Service and atmosphere were excellent and the coffee was good these times. Have not tried any food but I tried the donuts during Covid which might be the reason for the old comment. ————————- OLD comment👇🏻 The coffee had a very unpleasant bitterness aftertaste and the donuts were too sweet and had tough crusts (not fluffy at all)

Very yummy coffee and very helpful staff! A lovely girl called Tirion made my coffee- she was so welcoming and recommend which coffee to order as I often have decision paralysis in these situations. This is my second time visiting this coffee house, and not only is the coffee amazing, the brunch is delicious too! I’ve had the “stack” both times and they’re so tasty! And the tomato relish is delish! As always, will return when back in Cardiff.
