I recently had the pleasure of dining at Silures in Cardiff, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. The ambiance of the restaurant was cosy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a delightful meal. Speaking of the meal, the food at Silures truly exceeded my expectations. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was a masterpiece, bursting with flavours that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The menu offered a wide range of options, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate. What impressed me even more was the reasonable prices for such high-quality cuisine. It's not often you find a restaurant that offers such a fantastic dining experience at such affordable prices. The staff at Silures played a significant role in making my visit memorable. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Their friendly and accommodating nature made me feel right at home, and their recommendations were spot-on. I simply cannot speak highly enough about Silures. If you're looking for a restaurant that combines delicious food, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere, then look no further. Homey atmosphere, cordial hosts, amazing food, highly recommended the grilled salmon sushi and the clams in sake. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Cardiff and are looking for some homemade Japanese food.

My sister and I were attending a family occasion and wanted to find a cafe for a cup of tea as we had an hour to spare. Lucky for us we found the honeybee house tearooms. It was extremely busy but the welcoming staff found us a table and we ordered Narnia hot chocolate. The most delicious hot chocolate I have ever had with a lovely Turkish delight flavour. Thank you so much to the friendly staff we will see you again next time we’re in Cardiff as we need to try your cakes.

Lovely cheery staff who were very kind and helpful. Cozy warm store and lots of welshcakes available to buy, pre-packaged ones and fresh ones. The fresh welshcakes were very tasty, and we enjoyed the milk chocolate and the Easter special flavours.

Well prepared sushi and excellent service and great atmosphere

I ordered the beef birria tacos on uber eats. It was advertised as shredded beef tacos with sides of salsa and onions and coriander. I didn't receive the sides, which was a bad start and things only got worse. I then realised that the tacos didn't contain shredded beef, but instead contained cheap, gristly, unseasoned minced beef. After a few mouthfuls I threw the rest away as it tasted awful.

Absolutely delicious! The cheese kottu was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced a real comfort dish. The mixed fried rice was packed with taste and generously portioned. Friendly service and great value for money. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Sri Lankan flavors in Cardiff!

We had a wonderful evening at their Christmas wine tasting event. It was a great atmosphere, they had such great knowledge on the wines (and cheeses) but also what was selected to drink was so delicious.

My first time visiting here and I loved it. A proper family run business with the most welcoming and friendly owners! The food was really good! We both had the inbetweenies and our first experience with turkey bacon (which was lush!!). We will definitely be coming back again!! 100000/10!

It is really nice place having chats with friends. They have a garden space. Food is cheap.

2 pints of lager and 2 bottles of hooch (330ml) was over 25 quid! Prices spoil it for people who like a few pints. Please keep it sensible.
