Absolutely the best breakfast in Tredegar.

Where do I start?very responsive to messages/orders/queries etc...Very professional/courteous.Nothing is too much trouble! No misleading of the menus..what you see or what's stated,is what you get,which is refreshing in today's climate! Everything totally fresh!I've had 2 different orders within 7 days,so just goes to show myself and family thoroughly enjoyed our orders!...dont even get me started on the scones which are handmade...cue my mouth starting to water from the thought... SUBLIMELY DIVINE....WELL DONE!!!

Been eating from here since I can remember with my grandmother , definitely comfort food the best tasting cafe around. My favourite is the beef dinners, has always got better and bettet each meal and leaves me with a full stomach. Hope to bring my own grandchildren one day when i’m older, an amazing cafe. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the friendliest people you’ll meet in Tredegar! Also delivers sunday roasts which is convenient when you don’t fancy cooking, we usually order on a sunday now as a family and the dinners are always beautiful x

Visited for Sunday lunch after a trip to the Bevan Stones. Very short menu but our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. Me and my wife chose the beef and it was excellent. Two very large slices of good quality beef, cooked perfectly. Came with a huge Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli and gravy to die for. We didn’t have starters but the puddings were very good and two courses were more than enough. Altogether excellent!

Welcoming coffee shop. Lots of soft drinks. Cheese and potato pie amazing. A local speciality. Similar to Anglesey Eggs without eggs. Wow . Perfect. All on one level apart from one to the toilet A must visit

Advertised as having breakfast included in the price of the double room, gets there, pays, only to be told they dont do breakfast

Lamb doner meat is very tasty. Other shops give more bang for your buck around town.

Had BBQ spare ribs, genuinely amazing food especially for the price, defo going back

Mediocre food and very slow service is the norm at this cash only joint. The only stand-out is the rudeness of the staff!

Three stars for desserts. Chips were brown and hard, pretty sure the jacket potato’s were frozen and microwaved (if I’m wrong let me know) I don’t think il eat here again

Vegetarians or anyone with an allergy BEWARE! Visiting friends in the area so tried to order a tray with curry sauce, so asked to confirm that the curry sauce was vegetarian only to be told that it is made with chicken broth, so I asked about their mushroom curry as the menu states it's vegetarian, along with their vegetable curry, but nope, they use the same curry sauce that is made with chicken broth. They are mislabelling food and all they say is sorry about that... sorry! You've been feeding vegetarians meat based food, sorry doesn't cut it, what if it was for religious or allergy reasons to need a meat free curry sauce and people ordered yours because you list it as vegetarian. Will NEVER use again as the information they give or print can't be trusted.

First time ordering a takeaway from here, and it wasn’t a good experience at all. Firstly, we were quoted a delivery time of 45 minutes, but I actually turned into twice as long. 1 1/2 hours! I asked for a vegetarian Jalfrezi, and my partner wanted a chicken dhansak, but when I finally turned up, it was a vegetable Jalfrezi and a vegetable dhansak. Fair to say that she wasn’t impressed with things that’s far. we also ordered onion bhajis, and they were very dry and greasy, giving the impression they have been in the fryer, a couple of times or more I was attracted to this place by all the positive reviews, but after our experience we will be using it again.

Just called in for a bacon roll and a bacon and sausage roll terrible bacon all fat and under cooked sausage was crisp and burnt definitely reheated never again disgusting food place as gone down hill shame really as it used to do good food I wouldn't recommend it no more
