Molly's Cafe Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent

Brilliant little cafe, easily the best in the area in my opinion. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, spotlessly clean and amazing food. And unlike most other cafes a large breakfast is still a large breakfast! Easily worth the special twenty mile round trip I make every so often just for a visit. First class!

The food is always nice, reasonably priced, clean friendly cafe. You can park right by it so very convenient. Hard working girls that deserve their success.

I arrived 30 mins before closing but they quickly rustled up my requested scrambled eggs and bacon on brown toast - it was accompanied by a hot mug of tea. A simple small cafe but being run well

Stopped in here twice last weekend. Fantastic breakfast (came with tea or coffee and a coke for under 10quid) at a very good price. Very clean, fantastic & friendly staff. Will definitely come back if I'm up this way again.

Stumbled on this place by accident but jeepers its good , no , great. Fantastically friendly and I had the Mollys signature burger. Will never go to McDonald's again if I'm any where near Tredegar. Thank you ladies.

It was years since my last visit. They have new tables and chairs. But they are comfortable and strong enough for me. 20st. I was pleasantly surprised by the waitress service. It meant I could plant myself and not have to shift until I was done. The food was lovely. Very well presented and plenty of it. I washed it down with a tidy sized mug of tea. Proper tea, not dishwater. Some people can't make a decent cuppa. No problem here! A really great breakfast and a great start to the day.

Tasty breakfast and reasonably priced.

Great place for a full breakfast,the staff are excellent & it offers real value for money. Refills on tea or coffee are included in the price of the breakfast you choose & they are more than happy to make substitutions for items including your bread,toast or fried slice options depending on your preference. Sadly didn't have time to visit again would have loved to go back & try other available options.

We called in on a weekday about 11.30. I haven't been here for approx 3 years. The place was quiet and so there were plenty of places to sit. There was a menu on a large board on the wall or you could have laminated menus. The menu is extensive! recon there is something for everyone. My partner had a hankering for Gammon,egg and chips and yes they did it. He was happy and I joined with him having the same dish. Food was very well cooked and was delicious we both cleared our plates. The cafe was spotless, the staff pleasant and very efficient. We will be back. Cafe is open (at the moment) Tuesday - Saturday 8 - 3. They only take cash.

I popped into mollys cafe with a few friends for breakfast on the weekend. The service was great and staff were very friendly. Food was served quickly and we wasnt left waiting around , amazing prices for great food ! We had an outside table and it did start raining quite heavily , The staff instantly came over and moved a table umbrella to where we were sat. Great service , Great prices , Great food and I will definitely be back !

This is a really lovely clean cafe. Staff very friendly and the breakfast is very good value as are the huge bacon rolls. Very Covid secure you are reminded to sanitise your hands on entry and temperature is taken. Well worth a visit.

Went here for a breakfast on our wedding anniversary. I had the biggest breakfast I've ever seen, 4 x sausage, 4 x bacon, 3 x eggs, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, mushrooms, 3 x slices of toast and a coffee to wash it down. It was a challenge. All of that cooked fresh for £7.00. My wife had a medium breakfast for a fiver. The ladies were lovely and very welcoming. Best breakfast I've ever had bar none. If you're in the area do not miss this gem of a place. P.s bet you can't eat the bread or toast that comes with this bad boy!

Just had a medium breakfast and it was all cooked beautiful. Very friendly service a1 .The cafe was spotless clean and nice to see no mucky sauce bottle .I shall be returning again soon.

Probably go to Mollys on 3 or4 timesavers year and always get a good welcome, and same again this morning. Full English breakfast for me and toasted cheese sandwich for Carol , very tasty and cooked fresh. Excellent value for money. Well done ladies.

Struggling to find somewhere open on Sunday morning for breakfast, but a quick Google search brought up Molly's cafe. Very good food, great value for money, excellent service from the ladies in the kitchen and very reasonable waiting time considering how busy the place was. Tidy little find - will come here again!

Myself and my partner visited here last Saturday. Upon arrival I was amazed by the selection on the menu, for a small cafe- there is great variety. I had a medium breakfast which was a struggle to finish and my partner had a double cheeseburger & chips which was mammoth size. Food quality was top notch and atmosphere so friendly. The ladies working there engaged in conversation with everyone and were so smiley. Very impressed with my first trip to Mollys!

Not a place to visit if you are in a hurry. I went just after its stated opening time on a Sunday morning but after 15 minutes the woman behind the counter hadn't even got around to taking my order. I had to walk out as I had an appointment to keep. On the positive side it was easy to park outside as it's on a small industrial estate and the menu did offer a veggie breakfast. Sadly I just never got to try it. Molly's generally seems to get good ratings, so perhaps my experience was untypical.
