A nice place for an afternoon break. My wife had a fruit scone and I had a ham & cheese toastie, both quite nice. Got in ok with wheelchair but toilets were downstairs. Reasonable prices and friendlly staff.
I ordered 2 Vegetarian platters and despite my mistake of ordering too late, the lovely lady on the phone went to work on prepping and cooking my Saturday night treat.
Admittedly I took the photo after eating half of the food (couldn’t wait to dive in) but I thought it was important to show how it was served, there were additional sides of boiled rice, lovely soups, popadoms and chutneys... oh and a freebie paneer dish which I really enjoyed. I would recommend everyone gives this lovely little business a try. Very refreshing to find a vegetarian/vegan Indian take away.
Please note that orders are taken on a Friday ready for collection the following day.
New Years Eve! Amazing service and cocktails.
We booked a table for 8 and then realised there were 10 coming. Su was friendly enough to change the booking with no hassle. We arrived and had the best service. The place was full of people yet we had fast service by the kind staff. The vibe was very chill and we had live music as well. We will definitely be coming again! Thank you.
I visit here once a week before my commute to Liverpool. Not only is the coffee lovely the barista is always so lovely and kind and always asks how I am and what I’m up to. Makes the experience so much better! Thanks
Steffan, you darling man! What a welcome we received, we were drenched, dripping with rain, but Steffan welcomed us with a warm embrace and a tea towel to sit on. We then ordered a cappuccino and a black coffee, where I was immediately told I was getting one sugar cube because any more would play havoc with my blood pressure... Quite right! We sat in front of the roaring fire (one of the best I have ever seen), drinking our coffees which warmed us to the bone, whilst my partner (Guy) bored Steffan with his cheffing stories. It was an absolute Gem of a find and made our cold, wintry Snowdon Walk worth every second!
Ignore the ten negative (out of 1,500) reviews, you are one of a kind Steffan (They just don’t make them like you anymore), keep doing what you're doing because we will be back. Send our love to Dennis x Love Jade & Guy.
P.S. How was the curry? I am sure a complete success....
For anyone reading this, if you do not do Pen-y-ceunant Isaf Tea House, then frankly, you haven’t done Snowdon!
We visited Bank restaurant on a quiet Sunday night. Very few restaurants seem to be open in Barmouth on a Sunday night. There were 2 other tables occupied and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. The selection of music added to the atmosphere.
The lady who looked after us was lovely. The food is worth every penny of the price. We would eat here again when back in Barmouth.
This place is magical!!.. we took our 4 year old grandson yesterday and we all had a fabulous time, we painted a gingerbread man, filled a jar with sweets, had coffee, hot chocolate, pancakes, ice cream, milkshake, and had a complementary bag of popcorn and candyfloss!!!.. I cannot rate this place highly enough.. lovely staff, the atmosphere takes me back to my childhood with all the jars of sweets..too many to count!!..I would even recommend this for a group of grown ups.. loved it!..thank you..Xxx
Have to be honest, not a massive fan of the concept of small plates but the food quality was mind blowing at a pretty reasonable price too. Also dog friendly.
Called here yesterday and what a wonderful warm welcome I had. It’s dog friendly which was a massive bonus for me with my little dog Milo. The staff were great offering a blanket for him to sit on, treats and a bowl of water. The food was lovely, well presented and tasty and all staff were very attentive. I will definitely be back
A very disappointing breakfast. Toast was more like bread, cold hash brown, rubbery egg, barely cooked sausages & mushrooms were tinned. Looked nothing like the photo provided.
