Great staff - very helpful & friendly, fab event, really good atmosphere - the gig was amazing & would really like to book here to stay in the future. It was good that, although the place was packed, you didn't have to wait to be served. Ty Glyndwr: diolch o galon

had a tea and a coffee this this afternoon, Both drinks were great and my wife said it was the best coffee she has had in North Wales. We had a quick look in the bar area downstairs. Nice unusual selection of beers. They have live music on a Friday evening and a turn up and play session on a Wednesday evening. Staff really friendly and style of the place very tasteful.

We visited here for a cuppa and a cake with the family. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We were given a piece of fudge as a freebie with our drinks, this was by far the best fudge we have ever tasted! I think they should be selling it in the cafe it’s delicious! The guy working there told us they make it themselves. We will be back for more soon!

Fantastic cellar bar that is a welcome addition to Caernarfon’s social scene. Good selection of quality gins and ales served in a relaxed atmosphere. Great ambience, often enhanced on the weekend by live music.

We were looking for somewhere that allowed dogs and served great coffee. This place appeared just in time. All was as it should be. The member of staff made us most welcome. The coffee and hot chocolate were both great. And the dog was very happy.

We were three helpless girls looking for a mug of hot chocolate on a Sunday evening in Caernarfon... And then the barman of the newly opened Ty Glyndwr stepped out of the shop and invited us in, served us excellent hot chocolate with possibly the best fudge on the side with a big smile even though the cafe was already closed and only the bar downstairs was officially open. Him and the owner kept us company and we're buddies ever since. Not everyone wants to engage and make friends when walking into a cafe, restaurant or bar but those who do should definitely go to Ty Glyndwr. Fyi, their coffee and walnut cake is a winner, too!

Absolutely wonderful, a first visit but certainly not the last. Best pizza I’ve had in about 10 years. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. One of the best places to eat in Tywyn by far. Fabulous.

Staying nearby we decided to pop into one of our nearby local pubs and to our delight we found it very friendly and welcoming my wife and I can highly recommend it if you are considering dropping in

My first experience of Phoenix. This is a brilliant place, on the long Bangor High Street, but slightly hidden, being set back from the road. It has a large interior with amazing decorations. Many different styles of seating to suit different use expectations. The coffee is excellent. The food we had was very good - Farmhouse Pizza, and chicken kebab with a very tasty Turkish style mixed salad and rice. The service very friendly and the price was very reasonable, and in my view is excellent value. I saw they do a lot of Turkish style cakes and sweets - for my next visit. This is a good place to get food on Sunday when most of Bangor is closed. It is also a good place for a private chat or gathering and you do not want lots of background noise. It has high chairs and some toys for young children. I hear they hope to get a licence to sell wines and develop a more bistro style offering, which will be very welcome in Bangor.
