Lovely fresh bread, the vegan sausage rolls are well worth trying too!

We had the lovely steak pie, mushy peas and mash meal, Teddy Bears special that day, and it was absolutely delicious. The gravy was rich and full of flavour, complementing the dish perfectly. The drinks we had - tea and coffee, were spot on. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommended for a comforting, satisfying meal. Great value for money too.

Visited last night with a couple of old school friends for a pre-Christmas catch up. It was a first time visit for me. We booked a table which was just as well as it was really busy for a Wednesday night. Gorgeous interior and extensive food options. There were also great Christmas themed options. All of the food was lovely and with free parking in the main car park to the rear, it really is a perfect spot. Great staff too. We're booking again for January.

We visit this pub often we holiday in Chirk 5 to 6 times a year. Usually very welcoming customers and staff normally lovely. This visit however was good to start with music a little loud at 4.30, how ever the music was turned up so loudly you couldn't even talk to each other it was like a nightclub it's a pub. To add insult to injury went to the loo no lights in one cubical toilet seats hanging of no loo roll. We won't be visiting again

Absolutely amazing tasting food. Never had an issue. Won’t go anywhere else. Always know who we are when we call and collect. Really happy friendly staff. Keep doing what you’re doing!! Amazing!! Best Chinese food around!!

Worst chinese I've ever experienced Never going there again

I dont get it, they take my order then get me to wait for 15 minutes without them doing anything and then and they spend 2 minutes putting mine together, which was freezing cold any way. They did not stop glancing at me and it was very uncomfortable already but then three of them stared at me as i was leaving without ever having said anything except small large salad. The huge amount of lettuce and cabbage plus the sauce made the already lukewarm meat and already cold pitta soggy and the whole thing was a horrible mess. It seems some of these places do not like us or want us in there they are that rude. never again.

Called in for a drink with our dogs. We were all made very welcome by the lovely staff. Good choice of drinks both alcoholic and soft drinks. All the locals in there were chatty and my husband ended up having a game of darts with them. Nice seating area outside and plenty of seating inside along with x2 pool tables and x2 dart boards. There is a cafe being developed at the back which I’m sure will do well. Definitely be coming here again for a pint and a chat 🍺.

Delicious food at a very reasonable price prices

Absolutely gorgeous coffee and breakfast. Had the full English and smashed avocado. Spot on. A cartoonist and illustrator was on site doing illustrations. Fabulous community cafe. Will definitely return.

This is a great place for an informal meal, or a quick refreshment break. Not only is the menu imaginative and varied, but the opening hours are longer than is usual in a coffee shop type establishment. On our last visit we enjoyed a light lunch of home-made soup. We regularly stop off for a coffee but can rarely resist the appeal of the cakes. With artwork displayed on the walls inside, and information leaflets about visitor attractions, it's quite a community hub. There is a large outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome. In our experience service is usually efficient, though it can be a little slow during busy times.

A really nice diner with simple good food for a quick lunch. Excellent cheese and onion toasties with a mug of tea....just what we needed. And very smart toilets.

The food was absolutely incredible, easily the best Indian food I have ever had. Portion sizes were really good and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommend

Great place for dinner and good beer. Dog friendly in certain areas. Large garden for sunny days. Best to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Visited twice during our week away

Absolutely appalling service, you stand in a queue then they can’t take an order for lunch 5 minutes before 12 o clock even when I said we were willing to wait for the food until after 12. No flexibility or understanding, last visit I will make to eat here
