A really nice diner with simple good food for a quick lunch. Excellent cheese and onion toasties with a mug of tea....just what we needed. And very smart toilets.

We have been here many times but this time the breakfast was very, very poor, a very tiny slither of tomato, four tiny pieces of tinned mushroom, a small amount of beans,, bacon one sausage, egg, hashbrown. One toast. The food was also cold, we didn’t make a fuss, just ate some of it and left. £7.00 regular breakfast not worth it by any stretch of the imagination. Very disappointing, it’s been fine in the past, different owners I think.

We have been here a good few times and always been really happy, the last time we went i only had 1 & 1/2 sausages on bap when its always been two in the past. Still enjoyable but a bit of a dissapointing sausage to bap ratio.

Crunchy hash brown, perfectly cooked bacon, delicious sausage, with mushrooms and beans - all served with a smile ! Great cups of tea ! Roadside diners always seem to manage to produce waaay better breakfasts than the hotels I stay in !

Well the Diner not only met my expectations, they blew them out of the water !! Well my wife had a cheese and onion toasted sandwich and I had Cheese Burger and Fries. Well the toasty was as perfect as you could hope for, plenty of cheese and the optimum amount of onion, came with a side salad and coleslaw too. The burger now that was a different level, let me just say Burger King needs to be more than just a little worried to be honest. Burger was well seared and very nice indeed, cheese was melted and had taste ( BK and Maccy Dee’s take note) the bread didn’t fall apart and the salad on it ( free optional extra ) was fresh, crisp and plenty full. Fries were freshly cooked , crispy, portion was generous, probably too generous and cooked to perfection. Fridge has such choice on soft drinks and they serve a cup of tea your gran would be proud to serve to the vicar and the whole congregation ! Interior is spot on, clean and well appointed and the loo was spotless. The two ladies working in there were nice and welcoming. Ample parking outside too. If your traveling on the A5 and fancy a stop drop the multinational franchises and give these guys a go you will be writing a review like this afterwards too. Well done Aqueduct Diner you did a great job

Very disappointed with the Sunday lunch. All looked amazing on the plate but the roast lamb was tough and was accompanied with uncooked vegetables, far too al dente and the plate of food was not serve
