This place was recommended by a friend of mine when they visited Anglesey, warm welcome from the girls at the front before we sat down. Swiftly ordered drinks and food, coffees arrived quickly but the food service was slow (only ordered some tea cakes). We saw one of the girls took some tea cakes to another table who arrived after us, which took us at surprise as we were still waiting. After I while, I went to the front to ask if they were coming and was told that the chef had forgotten about it. The waitresses were very apologetic and we did receive them in the end after a long wait.

Had a great time getting to know some of the folks and making some new friends. This was truly one of the highlights of my trip, and one that will remain a very fond memory. The owners and everyone there were welcoming, friendly, and genuine. My only regret is that I didnât get a picture of all of us together, and me holding the âProud to be Welshâ sign that is behind the bar. Diolch! P.S. say hi to the cat for me.

Upstairs in Holyhead Sailing Club with a fab view of the Irish Sea! 16 of us went for dinner & we all had a different meal (pre-ordered) it was FAB! Every single person had hot, tasty, home cooked food that all came out together & served by lovely helpful friendly staff. I have been in smaller parties a few times now & the food & service is always great, I highly recommend it. The views over Newry Marina are always impressive too!

Go in. Trust me, it looks like a small shop, but they have seating, and it's surprisingly bigger than you think. The staff are friendly and the food is a surprise. We popped in for lunch and 2 (crusty not chewy) ham & cheese toasties with 'proper' ham, not that processed rubbish; a juicy and stacked bacon double cheeseburger, cooked to perfection; a bowl of fries and 3 drinks; all for ÂŁ25 - and we were all full enough to easily last until tea-time. Considering it's a tourist spot I have eaten infinitely worse for considerably more money in others (I'm looking at you, Castleton). And while you're there browse around the masses of local/Welsh foodstuffs and drinks (some with very funny names).

This pub is very much a work in progress, recently taken over by Rob, a local guy. A friendly welcome awaits you here, where you can watch the football and enjoy a range of beers and lagers. As a regular visitor to Amlwch its a great place to relax and unwind after a day's fishing or walking.

Incredible wood-fired pizzas to take away from this tiny hut in the beach cafe. We ordered them and took them back to our accommodation due to rain, but there are lots of picnic benches if the weather is good. The goats cheese and chorizo pizza was declared the best pizza a member of our party had ever had - absolutely crammed with goats cheese and so so tasty. They were really great pizzas and so reasonable. Definitely go!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere there..we orderd drinks and were given time to study the menus. We opted for Sunday lunch choice of 1 2 or3 course .we opted for the 3 course . A choice of 3or more starters . Choice of meats in main course I asked for a mix which was no trouble a tall. Desert choice of 3 . The food was absolutely fantastic well presented and hot .everything cooked to our satisfaction .more than ample portions. Excellent value for money . We will definitely be calling again. First it is open to non-members. We were able to request the components of our breakfasts. Basically my wife prefers bacon, and I prefer sausages. Everything came freshly prepared, well cooked, and thoroughly enjoyable. A nice touch was my wifeâs coffee had space for the milk, as requested; whereas I requested black, and it had been topped up with hot water. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, we were the only ones. However our experience was exploratory to find a place we could recommend for a breakfast to forthcoming visitors to Trearddur Bay. It filled the bill.

Amazing low prices for such high quality coffee and also food. Staff are all so well trained and welcoming everytime I visit for their iced latte which is my favourite. Brilliant bunch of people! Will make it my everyday routine to enjoy breakfast & a coffee or for a lunch break. Best coffee shop ever
