Had a great time getting to know some of the folks and making some new friends. This was truly one of the highlights of my trip, and one that will remain a very fond memory. The owners and everyone there were welcoming, friendly, and genuine. My only regret is that I didn’t get a picture of all of us together, and me holding the “Proud to be Welsh” sign that is behind the bar. Diolch! P.S. say hi to the cat for me.

A really cosy little place, decorated with lots of football scarves and emblems from all over Europe. You can really enjoy a drink or two here!

When I first walked in and everyone looked at me I was a little unsure. But once I got to the bar it seemed ok although needs a bot of a paint job. Beer was cheap enough and quite amusing to hear a old guy arguing behind me about his friend sitting to close this however seemed to worry the very young looking girl behind the bar who maybe should have had a little more help. She seemed to handle it well as I walked out to Enjoy my beer outside. In all the beer was good though and the people in there where present apart from the moody old guy who walked off in a huff as I enjoyed my beer

I stopped in here one night in late August 1981. After several cwrw pints I somehow ended up refereeing a billiards match. I later discovered all the participants were employed by SeaLink and worked on the overnight ferry to Dun Laoghaire. A lovely evening. Glad to see the Holland is still there. Thanks.

Many travellers, from many nations, inbound or outbound to or from Ireland visit this 'Ye olde style' pub. A strong community and local bar with extremely good and happy staff and very approachable landlords. This is a very welcoming and warm place, made amusingly funny by the locals, who have a very good sense of humour and who welcome all. A normal and mid-priced cost of drinks, with the cheapest pint at £2,50 for lager. Very well kept, consistently clean with a great rear off road seating and flowered beer garden. It can be seen that great efforts are made in the pubs appearance. There are no meal services but plenty of good and different snacks. Overall, a very good visit, value for money and a funny old time. You would come back here again.

Fantastisk känsla av att vara på en "riktig lokal pub"! Noel är trevlig som få, Willy "the taxidriver" kan hjälpa till med intressanta besöksmål och kör även riktigt bra, de lokala besökarna förgyller aftonen.....

I had planned to be in Holyhead for only an hour while waiting to catch the ferry to Dublin, but the ferry was cancelled so I had four hours to kill. I was wandering around Holyhead with a backpack full all of my worldly possessions, but on a Sunday evening, most everything was closed. A kindly gentleman who was standing outside for a smoke invited me into the Holland Inn (after passing by for a second time to find that nothing down the street from the pub was open either). I asked if they took credit cards and he said they didn't but offered to buy me a pint. As others have said, there is very much a community feel to this pub. There weren't a ton of people out on a cold Sunday night, but the folks there were most welcoming and polite. By the time I finished my pint, the kind stranger was gone, but it left me with a very nice memory of my brief time in Holyhead.

Came in here for a drink - very loud dance music on jukebox with very drunk and louder patrons. Felt a bit scary. I would avoid in future.

I drink here quite often. like all pubs, it has its oddball characters. Noel pulls a good pint and is very informative to anyone from outside the area who wants to know anything about the area. fantastic jukebox that plays what you want (money extra!) clean and welcoming.

My husband and I loved this fabulously individual pub. With its quirky gated door entry system to its stalled seating area. ... we loved it. First you need to find the pub down a side street looking unobtrusive. Secondly, you have to work out how to get in through its door. Read the sign and wait. Thirdly, enter into a magical space of a well stocked bar and well thought seating area to maximise the space within. Finally, park your bottom in one of the seating areas and enjoy the vibe of this funky, friendly and very very interesting pub. We really didn't want to go. No other pub compares to this one and we did try others to give this pub a fair review.

We have been to this pub twice before and had good food and service both times, This time we called in and had coffee first because it was early. We were told which table to have even though people who came later were told they could sit anywhere. We were then told we would have to go to the bar to order drinks but food was table service. Our drinks came we drank them. Another waitress asked if we were having food we said yes but still no one came to take our order. No one told us about the specials board and in the end we went to the bar to give our order. The food looked nice but the chicken was overcooked and dry. There was not much barbecue sauce on the hunters chicken so we were very disappointed. The onion rings and salad were very nice. I wish I'd known about the specials I probably would have picked off there but I only saw the board when I went to the toilet. The toilets by the way were very clean. We just felt we didn't get the service we have had in the past and it spoiled our overall visit to the Liverpool arms in Beaumaris.

Booked a table for the 4 of us for 6pm and arrived on time and sat at our table. We waited for 30 minutes in vain waiting for someone to take our order. The place wasn't busy but the staff seemed preoccupied with chatting to their friends at the bar. After 30 minutes we left and went elsewhere to eat. The place is very disappointing! The menu hasn't changed in years and it never seems particularly welcoming. An underwhelming experience for such a picturesque pub.

Visited on Saturday 3rd June 2023. First visit and very happy. Nice pub with great views if you sit outside, delicious food and helpful, friendly staff. Truffled rarebit on toast and Fish Finger bun (home made Fish Fingers) both amazing. Will absolutely eat here again.
