King's Head in Isle of Anglesey

Received a warm and friendly welcome,pub nice and clean. Manager was lovely with lots of local knowledge and only too happy to help and advise of places to visit.

You need to visit this pub it's one of the most friendly place I have visited in a good while the staff are brilliant the pub is clean I was impressed. I suggest you try this pub you will not be disappointed

Stayed in Amlwch for a couple of night and went to this amazing pub. Drinks a well priced but the main thing is the hospitality. Treated to 2 night of amazing service from Maz and her team. A great pub where even a stranger feels like a local and the locals all join the table. Won't be to long till we are back there again.

Went there to celebrate my birthday, was surprised with flowers, and birthday celebrations off the staff. Very warm welcome by the bar staff, would definitely recommend

Popped in with friends and family. Ignore negative reviews on this place. Landlady is brilliant, nothing to much trouble. Friendly pub, good banter and drinks spot on.

Maz and the team gave us the warmest welcome back after lockdown... the revamped outdoor area to the rear of the building was both clean and comfortable with plenty of room to practice social distancing. One thing Maz and Martin know how to do is serve great tasting beer, never have I had a ‘bad’ pint since they have been in charge... I cannot review the available cuisine as I have not as yet had the pleasure of dining at the Kings, I’m sure in the future we will book something. I can review the cleanliness of the toilets... Maz and team you should be proud. The toilets are spotless, with everything any covid conscious patron would need to ensure they stay that way. I would like to also mention that when the evening got a bit chilly, I was presented with a blanket (fresh out of the wrapper) to put over my shoulders... that’s customer care that you wouldn’t get in a Wetherspoons or a Yates!! Full house from me guys! You rock! See you tomorrow night

Warned by barmaid that the keg extra cold bitter hadn't been pulled for a while. Then I was presented with a pint of something that tasted like Afon Goch water. CAMRA have their work cut out in Amlwch

You really couldn't have asked for better service at the Kings Head. Maz,the landlady couldn't be more welcoming - even though we quite obviously weren't locals, we felt within minutes as though we were. We were in Almwcy while England were still in the world cup, and while they got knocked out, so my football mad husband had called a few pubs in the area in advance to find out which would serve decent beer and have the game on, King's Head ticked both boxes and with a cheery laugh into the mix and that was just on the phone. Upon meeting Maz, well, after minutes I felt i'd known her for ages... Regardless of being busy, she still made time for a natter with all around while serving fab beer and on the mid-week game a really decent curry for all. All this was topped off for me with a wine gum would you believe, while I'm not diabetic, my sugar levels do fall sometimes and she kindly offered me her last few (I only needed one). There are other pubs in the area, but after walking into a few on different days, we walked straight back out without ordering even a cola as service was nothing by comparison to that of the Kings Head. Well done Maz, and thank you, I hope to see you again sometime :)

A friend of mine recommended to go to this pub and the only I can say is: Thank you very much. Fantastic pub with enjoyable meal and stuff. The cod was fantastic, the beer really delicious and the price they have received as one of the most popular and best pub in North Wales has been given to them with all justice.

With a range of sports channels available, this place has it all! With a betting shop next door, it has character, fantastic atmosphere from the regulars, amazing staff and brill prices
