The best restaurants in Garth, Menai (Bangor) Gwynedd North Wales

The kiosk halfway along the Bangor Pier. Tiny but tastefully decorated. And seriously tasty treats! Coffee was excellent - as good as our other local favourites (Yugen, Blue Sky and Providero). Hot chocolate (different flavours available) was drained in seconds by my daughter. Cakes were generous, unusual, and left us fighting for the last piece. Home-made scones looked good too. Friendly owner happy to chat, and very committed to the cause: he told us he was receiving more barista training the following week - not sure he needed it from what we were served. And apparently he had also complety refitted the cafe to make it covid secure. Oh and must be the best view from a cafe in North Wales?

Absolutely fabulous shop with very helpful staff, if you like Chinese/Thai food and you like to cook then pay it a visit.

Amazing little place, very basic but it works.. the owner and his wife are lovely. Savoury and Sweet pancakes are amazing there. They do takeaways too!!!!. Absolutely worth trying out!!!.

Delicious Italian food, generous portions and very reasonably priced. A very small menu but executed very well indeed.

Having eaten here and previously in the van at various events, food is always top.standard, best pizzas around, nice relaxed vibes at the restaurant. I attended a pizza masterclass with rich(owner) and thoroughly enjoyed it, would recommend - from the complete novice to the budding amateur, it was a great insight to the many different intricacies that goes into creating the perfect Neapolitan pizza. Would highly recommend - diolch yn fawr 👍🏼

A quiet pub in Bangor. Wanted a comfy seat but all wooden. Good range of drinks but a bit expensive compared to other pubs in the town.

Wow me encanta la pizza napolitana Jones mi go to Friday treat. Hoy eligieron su especial para el día napolitano ragu de res. ¿Qué puedo decir tan sabroso, que siempre consiguen el cocinero tan lugar en. El personal del bar y pizzaiolo son tan amables, charla feliz. Incluso cuando está ocupado y zumbando la comida para llevar no lleva tiempo en absoluto. La mejor pizzería de Bangor te recomendaría probar si te gusta la auténtica pizza napolitana, tan fresca y sabrosa Janet

Stayed here overnight at the Management Centre in August 2024. Breakfast was included in the room rate. Food locally sourced and high quality. Next time we are in the area we want to try the 1884 Restaurant for dinner as we found other Bangor eating establishments (Cleo lounge) were lacking quality, service and later dining (til 9pm here). We also enjoyed the 1884 bar and hope to return! (Plenty of locally sourced drinks)

Ordered food through just eat these guys actually come under the name urban eats, my order was just under £24 but to my surprise 6.50 pm and my delivery time came and went and no food was delivered even though it said on the just eat website it was delivered so I called the restaurant and got a very rude man telling me there is nothing he can do because it’s a driver not employed by them directly but it was a just eat driver but it’s the way he spoke to me like he didn’t give a dam, so I contacted just eat on their app of course as customers conveniently cannot call them …only to be told the driver made several attempts to contact me (they made none) and apparently left my food in a safe place??? I live in a block of flats surrounded by 6 other blocks of flats 😡 I have a buzzer and nothing was rung by anyone!!!! And as a result they aren’t refunding me??? So I called the restaurants to a manager who said they have had problems like this before and they will contact just eat for me personally (they never did) now when I try to call the restaurant I get ignored or the phone gets disconnected… I’m very dissapointed that this wasn’t simply resolved by either the restaurant or a company as big as just eat it’s actually disgusting how they can get away with stealing from people with no consequences at all!! I’ve been forced into going to my bank for them to try and do something for me but as of yet nothing was done but I live in hope as this has really given a knock to my mental health and I cannot afford to lose money like that I’m not a rich man and a takeaway for myself is a treat that doesent come around all that often.

Encantador lugar y realmente disfrutamos de sabrosa comida vegana que no era carne falsa. Saludable, no comida rápida. Esperamos volver de nuevo muy pronto.

Just bought a delicious crepe, salami, feta, fried onion and ketchup, i absolutely love the places they have such a wide selection of ingredients and the owner’s their are lovely.
