Absolutely shocking food. My wife’s prawn’s were solid, daughters chips were inedible, my sons chicken fried rice was over cooked and the gravy on my food was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. Shame as they used to a great take away. Won’t be going back in a hurry.

We decided to get a take away from here during a recent stay in the local area. It has got to be one of the best take away meals we've ever had. Highly recommend. The person who served my partner, I assume the owner, was also very pleasant.

Lovely tasty food piping hot and good prices, tastiest chinese ive had in a while will definitely be visiting again. Man behind counter really friendly too and gave free pot of gravy and prawn crackers. Thank you and see you again! Ill happily travel further than my own town for this chinese again!

My king prawn curry went in bin couldn't even eat one prawn it was horrible. Chips where frozen cooked dry things gave up on them to . Out 7 items 3 where ok 4 good noodles where dry didnt like seaweed either . May have 5 stars but dont do it for pur family .

Poor food, keep clear of this Takeaway.There are far better places in Bangor or fairly local. It's also at the wrong end of town. Doesn't look at all appealing.

Best egg fried rice I've ever had, and loved the vegetables and cashew nuts in sweet and sour sauce. Some spring rolls from chinese takeaways can be soggy and disappointing but these were lovely and crispy at the edges! Everyone was satisfied with their meals and we only spent £30 to feed 4 people which was more than enough food and nice and cheap! Definitely will visit again :)

Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this Chinese take away. It is definitely one of the best in Bangor - we live on Anglesey and often drive here to have a take away.. because no where else matches it! Very delicious. Watch out, very filling! The menu has some items that come in regular or large (large being large)! Give it a go and when you do leave a review because I’m shocked this place only has 12 review so far ! Deserves more !

We go here often, the food has gone down a bit recently and its not as top quality as it has been but you get what you pay for for the price point its spot on.The staff are always friendly he tries his best with everything i'm sure theres a smile behind that serious face :)

This gem of a place makes the finest Chicken Chow Mein I've ever had. Most Chow Mein is too gloopy,soupy,glutenous,pale,wet,oily and liquidy. The Hong Kong Chop Suey House, on the other hand, utilises the 'Wok hei' technique,metaphorically called 'The breath of the Wok'. This means the Wok is at a ridiculously high temperature before any ingredients are added,which in turn, gives you a deliciously seared,smoky,dark colour and flavour...with little or any sauce.....perfect!I highly recommend the Chicken Chow Mein: If you're a 'foodie' (like me) with an adult's palate,then you'll agree with me,that this place is the best of the best....outstanding!

Food was all hot, plentiful and tasty as well as really good value for money! The salt and pepper chips were amazing! Lovely pieces of chicken in the curry and battered balls! Free prawn crackers and the man who served me when I picked up my food was lovely, Will be ordering again

Brilliant food. There starters are huge defintely the size of a main meal. Prices are very reasonable and very little msg is used in the food. Defintely the best in bangor.
