This was a most enjoyable experience The food was cooked to perfection,but be prepared to wait as the lady takes your order then it is cooked perfectly And so perfect the price for everything Would recommend it every time ,will be going again very soon Would give it 100 out of 100 every time Hugh

Delicious food with good vegan options. The owner is friendly and always willing to help. Also very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit!

Lady who served us was very helpful and friendly. We had excellent meals here, cooked fresh and hot. Dumpling starters followed by seafood noodles/meat & seafood pot dish with rice/stir fry meat noodle dish. All were excellent and the restaurant was spotlessly clean

Came here for dinner, it was quiet with only 2-3 of the 8 available tables occupied. The woman who served us was really enthusiastic and a pleasure to talk to, we ordered our food and drink in accordance with her recommendations and everything came within 15 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious (the prawn toast, salt & pepper squid and sizzling bejing tofu being our favourite). I never write reviews but the dedication, kindness and generosity of the female owner genuinely moved me. We talked at length about our children, how she settled in Bangor etc. This restaurant deserves more praise, this woman deserves the world.

Group of 7 including myself for a birthday meal. Outstanding service! Our server took the time to explain everything on the menu and had a good laugh with us, checking to make sure our food was ok and refilling our water/drinks. Impecable food! Very hot fast and authentic, everyone was able to find something they enjoyed very much. Fantastic value! For the Variety of food and the portions are very substantial. We all very much enjoyed and will be back again soon

A gem in a quiet high street. Reasonably priced good quality food, highly recommended. Friendly proprietor served us with a smile.

I come here with my partner and my friends all the time. It’s very quickly become our local whenever we fancy eating out. Food is always wonderful as is the fast and incredibly friendly service. It is great value for money and has a great range of tasty dishes. 10/10 every time

Food was nice, plenty of it. Nice atmosphere. Best part of the visit was the service. The waitress was very friendly and she was knowledgeable about the food. Will visit again.

Finally ventured into the restaurant after years of saying we’d try it. Gutted now we waited so long. I had the salt and pepper squid..... wow! Beautiful. Load of squid only slight negative is that it was slightly too salty for my liking. Wife had prawn toast and again really tasty. For main I had seafood Japanese Noodles. Fantastic so tasty. Wife had chicken fried rice, it was so tasty that she ate it without the curry sauce. Waitress very polite and friendly. Will definitely go again.

I ordered the rice with sichuan tofu, stir-fry pak choy and warm lemon tea. The sichuan tofu had delicious taste as the gravy was thick and hot. Both dishes reminded me of food back in my home country, Malaysia and how similar they taste. The lemon drink was warm and the sweetness was well balanced with the sourness of the lemon. The total bill came up to 17 pounds. The portions are huge and can serve two people. If you are a student, you can pack it up and have it for another meal. The food is packed in aluminium foil container with a paper top. It saves plastic. However, do bring a bag with you in case as they only provide plastic bags. The waitress is friendly and was very hospitable. I didn't want to use the public WiFi as hacking is more easier through it. I explained this to the waitress and she gave me the password-secured WiFi. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and cosy with enough sunlight penetrating the window and yellow lights inside. Overall, it was a great experience dining here.

Doesn't score a Top marks on the Hygeine Certificate displayed in the window. Tasty food but stopped eating there due to sign in window saying Halal meat. I will not support that cruel method of slaughter

My family and I visited for lunch today. We had pan fried dumpling, vegetable spring rolls and prawn toast. The prawn toast was gorgeous, full of prawns and delicious.The dumplings beautiful and melt-in-mouth. We then had wonton noodle soup, BBQ pork with rice and marinated chicken with rice. The BBQ pork was the best we've ever tasted, the chicken, delicious and tender, and the dumpling soup, very tasty and comforting. The service was terrific. If you like traditional Chinese food and friendly staff, then we highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, had the roast duck noodles special. Delicious tasty food and good atmosphere. We didn’t need to book, just turned up and had plenty of space. Lovely restaurant. If you are in the area it’s a Chinese you must try!!

Pleasant staff and food quite tasty, however my last visit was spoiled by a Mouse scurrying across the floor, not good.

If you’re unlucky you will miss this place, it being at the top of Bangor and just out of the way from the main shops. But do yourself a favour and pay it a visit. The restaurant isn’t the most authentic Chinese I’ve eaten in, but it’s immaculately clean and the Chinese food is the best in the area. I had a king prawn chow mein which was deliciously fresh and not the slightest bit greasy. My partner enjoyed the wanton noodle soup just as much. Can’t wait to go back and sample the dim sum.

never eaten in here but had a take away had the same menu anything you wanted absolutely lovely spare ribs ,is a must anyway at the time loads different menu lovely and clean I like it .this restaurant I would trust after having a order from upper Bangor Chinese restaurant uch o my god spent £32 on crap had a bone or whatever it was uch mr whar uuuuch blu

I come here just for the Dim Sum, it is simply delicious! The lady was very friendly and welcoming too.

Really quite there which effected the atmosphere. But good food and reasonable prices. We had the set menu and they were happy to swap the meals with a small extra charge. Service good and friendly.

He comido en muchos Jasmine's un tiempo, nunca me ha decepcionado. Las gambas y dim sum de cerdo es sencillamente deliciosa. Durante la última visita también tenía una gran sopa, carne crujiente con ganado toneladas de carne en salsa de Beijing y alubias negras. Todos eran excelentes. La salsa de Beijing fue, con un tono excelentes para probar encantador de las especias. El servicio como siempre era acogedor y amable. No puedo olvidarme de mencionar el huevo frito arroz, que siempre es perfecto. Altamente recomendado.

I have been to Jasmine many times and I am never disappointed, the food is great, especially the dim sum. I would recommend it to anyone in north wales!

Desde el principio hasta el final, tuvimos una excelente comida. El menú es muy impreciso y un montón de cosas no estaban disponibles durante la noche. Lo que elegimos ... Dim Sum, pato crujiente aromáticos (barrio para dos es suficiente) carne en Beijing salsa (carne era crujiente, nos sorprendió pero fue fantástico) y plato con gambas parecía ser disfrutado! El servicio era bueno y volveremos pronto!

Viajamos hasta aquí desde Llanberis (unos 20 minutos) cuando estuvimos en Snowdonia como hemos escuchado Satisficieron veganos. La señora que sirve como fue muy amable, y pudo recomendar varios platos adecuados para nosotros. Tuvimos una comida agradable y sin duda volveríamos si visitamos la zona de nuevo.

Very good meal here. Menu was a little tatty and poorly presented, but its hard to find a top quality restaurant in Bangor. Service was very good, and the food was very nice indeed.

Great to find this place on the high street.The best sesame prawn toast I've had in ages. I can't wait to try their dim sum.

Fui con mi amigo que habíamos tenido dim sum desde allí antes - absolutamente divino! Tenía gambas seseme tostadas, pato con panqueques, pollo y nueces - no me puedo quejar de nada!

He estado comiendo aquí al menos 6/7 veces y es el mejor lugar de comida asiática en Bangor. Me encanta el Dim Sum (aunque la selección disponible no es tan grande como la selección en el menú); el arroz frito es siempre delicioso y última vez que pedimos cerdo en salsa de ajo y yo estaba en cielo! El frente de la señora de la casa es muy útil a la hora de elegir platos y si tiene requerimientos especiales y requisitos y recuerda lo que tenía las anteriores veces lo que significa que el servicio es muy atento. Siempre lleno de estudiantes asiáticos que demuestra lo bueno y la comida es auténtica. Siempre tengo ganas de ir! :)

I enjoyed a delicious authentic Cantonese seafood dinner in this comfortable restaurant. The meal was very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

my girl friend will go back her country next 2 months. Therefore, we make plan to travel Bangor city. It is nice city but this is the first time i go there so i so scare about that i have no idea to eat or travel. i walk around town, and i chose Jasmine restaurant. It a mazing. Jasmine is good restaurant with nice staff. i hope i have more opportunities to travel and eat in Bangor city.

I'm a big fan of Asian food so was delighted with this little place. I came here at lunch time so it wasn't busy and my food came really quickly. Their food is fresh and tasty, and I liked that they used plenty of fresh ingredients like chilli and garlic that really came through the dish. The serving size was a little on the small side but I'd happily come here again.

Popped in today (14/10/2014) for lunch, the variety of Dim Sum on offer was enough to tempt in. And was not disappointed. The lady who was our host was extremley helpful, she took time to go through the menu with us and made some recomendations. The food was superb and excellent value for money.

What you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Serving traditional food. I enjoyed the meal could not fault it really perhaps a little larger serving of soup? But it was all fresh and tasted great. Dine with confidence
