Just want to say a huge thank you to Arwel and Anna. We, like everyone, were without power and no cooking facilities as electric hob🤦 . Also had surprise visitors who couldn’t get out of the village so bunkered down with us. Arwel and Anna last minute made us food so that we all had some warm food. The food was perfect. Thank you so much xxx

This was an amazing find and the food was absolutely sumptuous. Lindsay the owner made us feel at home and Ann, his wife, is the chef so it is a family run hotel / restaurant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be coming back if I am in North Wales again.

Went for a drive and stopped off for a pint and some food. Starter of whitebait was good, my haddock main was OK but nothing special, the chicken tasty was a little overcooked and not succulent. Nothing overall wrong but there's nothing to make me want to go back.

Lovely building and setting. Ordered the £14 (!) Welsh rarebit. We were told it would be 20 mins because they were busy, which is fine, but first they brought us the wrong dish, then after a 45 minute wait, the rarebit finally arrived. The place is staffed by friendly kids, but when you are being charged so much, you expect a better service.

The obsession with “Non customers” using the toilets pushes people away as the one member of staff we encountered is very rude. Staff member was locking the toilet as we asked to use them to change our baby and was very rudely told it’s for customers only. When we tried to explain we were customers and someone we’re with is picking out items to buy we were ignored and she walked away. Apparently it’s 50p for “non customers” to use the toilet but we weren’t even given that as an option despite going out of our way to visit the mill and (as the plan was) to buy things. We all left without buying anything so we went somewhere else on our road trip. Another woollen company had the £300+ we ended up spending and this one didn’t even get the 50p charge for their beloved toilet. Terrible business sense and rude staff

We ate here one evening as a group. We knew it was simply pizza and after Paddleboarding thought it would be the best option. The tables needed to be cleaned thoroughly as they were sticky and grimey but we made do with the spills being wiped up and the fabric chairs were disgusting with food/dirt ground into the chair arms, back and seat. We weren’t off to a good start but it was soon to get worst. The pizzas were either undercooked and cold in the middle or burnt black. Really disappointing. We had to send multiple back to be replaced or cooked for longer. The server was apologetic but offered no compensation. The price of the pizza was £11.95 and way overpriced priced. I’d have been disappointed for the quality at £5 per pizza so we felt well and truly ripped off. We had a great day at Adventure Snowdonia so it was no reflection on the place but it was a very disappointing end to our day.
