Awful. Food was genuinely disgusting or tasteless. ‘Triple cooked chips’ were just cold oven chips, nothing special about them at all. The cheese sauce in the mac and cheese tasted of nothing. Popcorn chicken was just dry chicken drizzled with soy sauce no flavour whatsoever. Fusspot burger had lots of fillings on the menu but only had lettuce and cheese. £30 wasted. Judge for yourself from the pictures - do not waste your money on this basic takeaway. Have also just seen they only have 2* hygiene rating. The other reviews must be from friends.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Arwel and Anna. We, like everyone, were without power and no cooking facilities as electric hob🤦 . Also had surprise visitors who couldn’t get out of the village so bunkered down with us. Arwel and Anna last minute made us food so that we all had some warm food. The food was perfect. Thank you so much xxx

This was an amazing find and the food was absolutely sumptuous. Lindsay the owner made us feel at home and Ann, his wife, is the chef so it is a family run hotel / restaurant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be coming back if I am in North Wales again.

Visited during our stay nearby. What a lovely local pub. Log fire going, owner was very friendly and informative. We both had the half shouldet of lamb which was out of this world. Since called back for a drink and great atmosphere with welcoming locals.

Went for a drive and stopped off for a pint and some food. Starter of whitebait was good, my haddock main was OK but nothing special, the chicken tasty was a little overcooked and not succulent. Nothing overall wrong but there's nothing to make me want to go back.

Shame they advertise they are open at 10 am on a Sunday. They are not. And this was on Remembrance Sunday

Lovely building and setting. Ordered the £14 (!) Welsh rarebit. We were told it would be 20 mins because they were busy, which is fine, but first they brought us the wrong dish, then after a 45 minute wait, the rarebit finally arrived. The place is staffed by friendly kids, but when you are being charged so much, you expect a better service.

Visited in 2016, and again in 2022. Both visits were delightful. It's fun to see the machines and learn the processes by which raw wool and raw water power are turned into lovely woolen products. Be sure to save space in your luggage to buy a blanket!

We ate here one evening as a group. We knew it was simply pizza and after Paddleboarding thought it would be the best option. The tables needed to be cleaned thoroughly as they were sticky and grimey but we made do with the spills being wiped up and the fabric chairs were disgusting with food/dirt ground into the chair arms, back and seat. We weren’t off to a good start but it was soon to get worst. The pizzas were either undercooked and cold in the middle or burnt black. Really disappointing. We had to send multiple back to be replaced or cooked for longer. The server was apologetic but offered no compensation. The price of the pizza was £11.95 and way overpriced priced. I’d have been disappointed for the quality at £5 per pizza so we felt well and truly ripped off. We had a great day at Adventure Snowdonia so it was no reflection on the place but it was a very disappointing end to our day.
