This was a delightful little Cafe. We were looking for a place to eat while we were waiting for the Trefriw Wollen Mills to open. It seemed like there was hardly any food place open for lunch, in the entire town of where we walked, so we were quite happy with our find. The food was very good. We would have purchased more than what we did, but they did not take Credit and since we were from out of the country, we only had a limited about of cash, but that was ok, we still enjoyed what we were able to purchase, and we certainly understand a business not wishing to take Credit cards. The cafe is rather small, and we were a group of 8, so some of the group sat inside and three of us enjoyed our food at a little outdoor table.

We went here for breakfast. As we walked in we were welcomed so nicely by the owner. We were not rushed to make our minds up on orders. Portion sizes are great, me and my daughter shared an orange juice between us and we were offered an extra plate and cutlery for my daughter without being asked. I have never experienced that at any othet restaurant before. A lovely warm, friendly atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the overall experience. Would definitely visit here again.

Cute like café, located along the main road. Service with a smile - lovely atmosphere. They had real decaf coffee too! We only had cakes but these were lovely - great taste, texture and portion size. Food here looks good - plenty of choice of sandwiches, rolls, salads etc. The best bit is that it’s also dog friendly too! Not sure why others have written negative reviews because this little place doesn’t deserve it. If you’re passing by - park opposite Trefriw Woollen mill (also worth a visit to see their machines & buy some goodies) then walk over the bridge (take a camera for Fairy Falls).

Awfully rude front of house, didn’t really want people in the cafe. Ice cream and coffee were ok but service with a smile it certainly was not.

So disappointed. Cracked dirty tea pots. Stale & over priced tiny bits of cake. Kids had beans on toast..burnt black toast! Hair in beans! We noted that if you wanted marmite this was a shared single help yourself pot! The salad cream was left out of the fridge all day :( Overall! Awful! Bearing in mind this is the ONLY cafe in the village, you would expect happy, lovely staff & home made cakes! (& cleanliness) Such a shame.

We stopped on our way down from Llyn Crafnant (plenty of parking just over the bridge, then left). Kid's all-day breakfast was excellent as were the sausage baps and avocado salad. Tables disinfected and hand sanitiser available at the door. The only negative was the lack of mask-wearing by staff, left us a little uncomfortable.

We came upon this Cafe by accident when we took the back road from Llanwrst it was raining and we decided to stop and have a late breakfast the cafe is small and was busy We were told there wasn’t a table available inside but we could eat outside undercover We ordered our breakfast and just before it was ready a table inside became available so the lady said that if we waited whilst she cleared it and cleaned down we could go inside The breakfast did not disappoint it was hearty and well cooked we asked if we would like more toast or a top up on our coffee and the cook W was very pleasant couldn’t fault it highly recommend will visit again as we are in Wales this weekend

Stopped off for brunch on our way home. Great choice of very tasty food and super helpful owner who was so good with our two young granddaughters. The black pudding, onion and cheese bap was a revelation......... Thank you, we will be back 😀 NB. Cash only and parking in road opposite the woollen mill.

First of all this cafe is CASH ONLY. There is plenty of free car parking over the bridge, opposite the woollen mill, the car park is approximately 200 yards from the cafe. However this did not put us off going in for refreshments. As it was near their closing time we just had a piece of cake and a hot drink. The Victoria Sponge was very nice and enjoyable. We went back a few days later and again we were treated with friendliness from the staff. Each time that we visited we were given excellent service from very friendly staff. There is seating outside and the cafe is dog friendly.

I visited one Saturday lunchtime in mid July (having found the Lake Crafnant cafe closed) to find this cafe closed as well! No indication if this was permanent.

Had one of the best vegetarian breakfasts that I have ever had, whilst eating out. This cafe serves well cooked food, with generous portions, some of my friends had the full English breakfast, which looked delicious. The service was second to none, the owner/chef was so friendly and helpful, nothing was any trouble, even the extra 50 rounds of toast we asked for... the young waitress was also very friendly, really helpful and efficient. I can't wait to eat here again, I have heard the Sunday roast potatoes are out of this world :)

If you are near Llanrwst or visiting the Trefriw woollen mills just yards away, do stop at Mary Bella's cafe for a pleasant snack or meal. Pleasant service. Good food (they also kept topping up our pot of tea without being asked to). Great prices. Glad we called in.

This cafe caters for locals and tourists, many of whom are walkers. We were welcomed with our dogs on the condition that if anyone objected (no one did ) we would have to sit outside. Our breakfasts were lovely with good bacon and a decent size slice of black pudding. The sausages were far better than the usual offering in other cafes and very enjoyable. We were given good coffees and hot chocolates There is plentyful free parking opposite. we will return

Chips to die for- proper chips, hand cut and a good size!! I could just leave the review at that but everything we ate was fab. We had a range of sandwiches, chips and I had a very nice full English. It’s definitely cafe food but really good quality. It’s at the end of a little parade on the Main Street between the wooden mill and the path up to the Fairy Falls and opposite the Fairy Falls pub. You need to pay with CASH which necessitated a whip round the 14 of us that descended on them but I’m glad we got the money together as this was the best cafe I’ve been too in a long time and not one of the 14 of us were disappointed. Many thanks to the two ladies in there who worked like trojans to get us fed! We’d definitely go back rather than use any of the other eating options!

Perfect stop after a day's walk; they had agreed to stay open especially for our group. We were not disappointed and I hope it helped their business. Very friendly staff, lovely cakes ( recommend coffee and walnut), and other home made snacks. Excellent value.

A Victorian building on the corner with outdoor seating, under a balcony overhang which is handy on rainy days. Looks like an old-fashioned soda shop. Very friendly manager on site, along with good selection of sandwiches and goodies. Easy to get to, as bus 19 can drop you off almost across the street ... you can lunch, then catch the same bus again about 40 minutes later. Next to a picturesque little river and in a walkable town. We stayed a few days and had a relaxing time.

Cosy cafe. Not many tables and can get quite busy. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice bit of music in the background. Breakfast was nice but would have been good to have the option of a poached egg. Only option was fried. Enjoyed my milkshake and my partner enjoyed his coffee. Fair value for money given the tourist area. No parking directly outside but carparks closeby and road parking a way up the road.

Tried to charge for a squeeze of Costco ketchup on my son’s chips after I spent £15 on drinks and chips. It’s easy to spend my hard earned money ANYWHERE else. Usually really like going out of my way to support local independent business that go the extra mile to attract more tourists to the area…. Won’t be coming back here unfortunately. Shame as the location is great. Perhaps this is a little petty, but I thought it just plain mean.

Nice home cooked food, friendly staff! Visited a few times now, a basis looking place but the quality and choice of good home cooked food with really friendly service keeps us coming back and recommending to family. Great value, easy access and free parking.

This is just the most wonderful place..! Afternoon tea today - their own-blend leaf tea was to die for. Best "cuppa" we've had in a long time. The fixed-price afternoon tea came with our choice of sandwich from the main menu, a choice of home-made cake, and an extremely generous portion of bara brith. scones & Welsh cakes. Do this at least once in your life. The quality is exceptional as is the customer-service - real nice people working here. Vert traditional tea-room setting - about 20 covers inside? Seating also available outside and their are quite extensive trails up & behind the property to walk off some of the carbs ;) If you're visiting the Conwy Valley this needs to be on your list.
