I’m wondering if anyone can give me a phone number for this cafe? I came to snowdonia on holiday last weekend and came to this cafe, I bought lunch but had been charged over £700 not realising until checking my bank when getting home that this is what had happened. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Sunday roast is nothing like advertised. We thought we’d researched well for a location for a good Sunday roast. How disappointed were we. The food came out very quickly and was literally looked & tasted like microwaved rubbish. The roasts were like out of a bag and the veg was like the mixed frozen veg bag from supermarket. The cauliflower cheese was watery and very bland. The staff were friendly but I would not recommend this place for food. The dining room also felt soul less. There are other better eating places within this location.

Ordered a take away online. Opted for butter chicken and a plain naan. Picked up on time hence the one star. Got it back to where we were staying. Butter chicken was really spicy and tastes nothing like any butter chicken I have tasted before. The amount of chicken in the dish was minimal. For £12.50 I was expecting something really nice. The naan was also very dry and not very big. It was on par with something I could have bought from Asda!

Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was left wondering if there were some other Bryn Glo Tearooms in the area that we didnt know about? Been here loads of times over the years the family have been operating - often with my brood of feral kids (and later, feral grandkids), and the family who run this business have always made us very welcome; we visit Snowdonia a lot, as we live on the Wirral, and we always get a great feed and great service here, at reasonable prices for this area. The woman who appears to run the place only seems to be terse to those born with no sense of humour. I couldnt visit any part of North Wales without making an excuse to call here, and the pizzas, cooked outside in a wood fired oven, are absolutely fantastic. A great place to sit, relax, and eat some good food, and the proprietor's family are refreshingly down to earth and remember you when you revisit. My go-to cafe when camping at Dolgam (which we do often), everyone should visit them and decide for yourself. You wont be disappointed, five stars all day long xx

Quick stop found us at the door of Cafe Betws-Y-Coed. Clean and spacious with a variety of choice exceeding our requirements, but having made our choice we got more than we expected. A special day made even better by the friendly staff.

£2.95 for the smallest scoop of ice cream you’ve ever seen. It actually didn’t even come out of the cone it was that small. I actually said to the young girl serving - is that it for £2.95 and she replied that she had been told to make the portions smaller! Needless to say I walked away without the ice cream and went up the road to Cadwalladers. By the sounds of the other reviews on here, small portions are a regular occurrence!
