We were travelling home to England and all needed a breakfast ! We initially drove into the centre of Criccieth to find other cafes busy. We decided to journey home and stop at a roadside cafe if and when we saw one! Further down the road I saw a sign for Cafe and Fisheries and we immediately turned left and thank goodness we did ! We followed the forest road and came to a small pond and benches some swings and a cafe ! They allowed dogs which was great and as the weather was sunny we walked through the cafe and to the other side to a decked area overlooking a beautiful lake. The cafe was popular and some people we eating teas a cakes which also looked amazing ! We ordered 4 large breakfasts and were not disappointed ! Lovely friendly service and lovely food with a lovely view ! So glad we found this haven and didn’t get a bacon buttie from Criccieth as originally planned . This will definitely be our homeward journey breakfast stop off from now on !
We are staying in Rhoscolyn, about4/5 miles from Holyhead and wanted a
Chinese take away. Going on local recommendations we chose Green Island. I rang the the night before we arrived and asked if they would deliver to us The very polite lady that I spoke to didn't know our address but said that the driver would so we ordered. The meal arrived on time, was hot and delicious. The driver was also so polite and friendly. It was really good value for the money with large portions . Highly recommended.
What a smashing little gem, we stumbled upon the bistro and what a treat!! The front of house lady was attentive, accommodating and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, food was hearty, tasty and exceptional value for the money.
I wiukd Highly recommend you to visit.
This is my go-to coffee spot a couple of times a week, and for good reason! The coffee is absolutely amazing—way better than the big chains—and it’s clear they take real care in what they serve. There’s also a great selection of food to go with it. On top of that, the owner is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you’d rather spend your money than at a generic chain because of the quality .
Highly recommend!
First time trying here , Plenty of car parking outside, I like that they have kept it looking old scool inside instead of the over the top modern bakerys like gregs etc They have a huge selection of breads , pies , sandwiches etc , Quality is 5/5 ive had my fair share of sandwiches but these are definitely up there as one of the best as the fillings aren't cheap , Chix Tika & mint was so nice and the Chinese chicken had large bits of chicken in (you can taste the quality) I also had a Tiffin cake that was nice , The 2 ladies that were serving were really nice and had good customer service, Definitely worth mentioning they spoke Welsh wich is nice as most places waste the English language around here, Would definitely go there again 5/5 , Cost was good also 2 small baps , 1 cake and a packet of crisps £10 .
Preciosa comida tailandesa que estaba caliente y sabrosa. Recomendaría encarecidamente el curry tailandés verde. Para hacerlo aún mejor, es compatible con perros. Sin duda recomiendo una visita.
Really good service, the food was second to non.
I know that it is a training kitchen with students learning customer service but the tutors were really helpful and friendly.
It is not an extensive menu, there were options of 3 starters, one soup, one fish and one vegetarian.
The mains also contained 3 options, one meat, one fish and one vegetarian.
We didn't have the desert as we were full.
Before I bookedni was going to go to another food establishment but so glad I didn't, for the entire 2 courses and 2 drinks at the other place it would have cost more.just for a main.
I will be going back.
Having heard some positive comments from friends decided to book a table to try the Sunday Special (Sunday 3rd March). On arriving was made very welcoming by the attentive staff and the restaurant itself was very well lit and spotlessly clean. The food was fantastic, well presented and well worth the money. Just a note for anyone wishing to book a table as it doesn't have a liquor licence, its therefore a "Brink Your Own" (BYO) for any alcoholic drinks, which from eating at other BYO restaraunts in the past would expect a small corkage charge to be levied. Will put "East Meets West" on my to revisit list.
When we visited this restaurant I found the interior to be very nice and cosy. The service was quick with us not having to wait long for our orders to arrive. The food was very good. I ordered an English breakfast and the quality of the ingredients was very high and the portions were generous. Staff were friendly.
We had a fabulous meal last night. All of the dishes were tasty, fresh and fragrant.
Would absolutely recommend and will be doing so to our friends and family.
Excellent service, friendly and warm and delicious food with excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Cup of tea waiting for me on the table within seconds and food shortly after. Clean well lit and just a perfect seaside cafe
